    Already tried resetting it. This comes up every time I turn on Apple TV with the what's new In this update screen.

    Prime Video 4K videos not playing in HDR

    So I went to watch a video, last time I watched it it played back in 4K HDR 10 but now it only plays in regular 4K. Tried playing some movies I know played in HDR but same thing. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Dolby Vision shows up while in Netflix menu, but switches back to SDR when watching show

    I have a Vizio 50 P50-C1 and Apple TV 4K and am having issues with Netflix playing in HDR.

    The Dolby Vision logo pops up while in the menu, but when starting a show, it seems to go back to SDR. I haven't watched anything on Netflix in a while but I know it was working the last time I did.

    I've tried multiple HDR compatible shows, main one being Stranger Things S3, but gets switched back to SDR upon starting an episode.

    Tried MoviesAnywhere movies I have that are 4K HDR and those are working just fine.

    Recently updated the Apple TV and all my settings are 4k Dolby Vision and match source.

    Hard Knocks - HBO Channels

    I subscribed to HBO channels and can not find how to watch Hard Knocks. Has anyone figured out how to watch it, or is it only restricted to hbo go and hbo now?

    Apple TV, Apple Music to AVR, only 2.0 audio?

    To elaborate on the title, I have a Pioneer AVR that controls my home theater setup and is in a 5.1.2 speaker configuration. However when I play music on the Apple TV, via the Apple Music App, the receiver says it's only getting a 2.0 audio source, the bass is noticeably missing from playback. And I can tell on the back of my sub that it isn't getting any data from the AVR.

    That being said content with a dedicated audio track (ie movies) plays back just fine in whatever the configuration the audio is in (2.1, 5.1, 7.1 etc) and the AVR reflects this.

    Is Apple Music just limited to 2.0 due to the format? Or am I missing something that would make my music sound better?

    Edit2: Adjusing the speaker size in the crossover settings fixed it. Thanks to all who suggested that.

    DTS-HD MA & TrueHD not playing with Infuse 6 Pro

    Brand new user of Apple TV 4K and Infuse.

    TV is LG C9 which support eARC and has HDMI 2.1.
    AV Receiver is Denon AVR-X3600H which supports eARC.
    Infuse 6 Pro.

    MKV files via Plex that are TrueHD or DTS-HD MA are not passing through to the Denon. Tested with Apple TV 4K directly connected to the AV Receiver and TV.

    Denon displays the Source as Apple TV, Sound as Multi In + DSurround, and Signal as PCM.

    Not sure how to fix this. Read through the support articles on FireCore's website, but was not helpful. I have a post on their site. Hoping someone here might be able to help.

    Remote Connection

    I have an Apple TV 4K, and have had it since around the time it came out in 2017. I have it mounted on the wall, behind my 2018 LG OLED55B TV. Ever since I mounted the Apple TV, the remote has constantly lost connection. It lags when I'm using it, and is basically useless if I'm more than 10 feet away.. It's been an issue that I've just kind of dealt with, but I'm considering a switch to streaming Tv (YTTV), and not having this remote functioning is becoming a real annoyance..

    I've called Apple support, and they replaced both the remote and the device, but that did not resolve. Searched this community and didn't find any fixes.. Everything I read says it has something to do with interference but it seems like if that were the case - way more people would be complaining. Behind the TV there is my cable box, and that's it. I tried removing the cable box, turning off the TV WiFi, all the common suggestions - nothing works.

    Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this? Has anyone with this issue tried the Logitech remotes instead? Thanks in advance!!

    Help with factory resetting AppleTV 4

    Hi. I previously turned on beta updates on one of my my Apple TV 4s. However I found the amazon prime was a little buggy often failing to playback streams first time. I turned off beta updates but this doesn't roll me back. So I'm currently sitting on version "tvOS 13.0 (17J5515e)"

    I thought resetting the Apple TV might resolve my issues however that just resets, while keeping the current OS installed.

    Even worse after doing that now other apps have started bugging out. BBC iPlayer app fails to even start.

    The next logical step is the reset and update which is meant to restore to factory settings. However when I try this I get the following error "Apple tv can't download the latest update right now. Try again later". Trying again later makes no difference.

    I'm currently at a lose as to what to try next so I thought asking the community might help. Maybe someone has come across the same problem before and has found a way to resolve it?

    HBO channels missing “A Star is Born”?

    When I search for this title, it prompts me to sign up for HBO NOW, indicating that the movie is on HBO. Howveer, there is no link to get it on the HBO channel on the Apple TV. I recently switched over from HBO NOW to use the version on the TV app because I had assumed the content would be identical. I noticed quite a few posts on here about content missing, but many of them seem to have been resolved shortly afterward. Has anyone else been able to access this particular movie using the TV app and HBO channel? I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong.

    ATV 4K blinking and no Picture

    My Apple TV 4K stopped working. It just blinks 8x times and than it blinks again. And it shows a black Screen. I was watching Netflix the last time and thats it. Can someone please help?

    Hellboy 4K DV

    Has anyone seen this from the iTunes Store? Super dim with DV to the point that it was unwatchable. I'm watching it on a semi calibrated x900. I wonder if it was mastered this way from the studio??

    Anybody else keep getting logged out of everything on tvOS beta ?

    I keep getting logged out of all my accounts every couple of days. Even worse is there is an update available but each time I try and update the beta it fails. Tone know how to fix this without a complete restore?

    ”Screen Mirror” audio issue w/ paired HomePods

    I have my Apple TV 4K, under "Settings," set to use paired HomePods for audio. This works fine for audio when I use an Apple TV 4K app.

    However, if I try and "Screen Mirror" a video from my iPad to my Apple TV 4K the audio is sent out from my TV's speaker and not the paired HomePods.

    For some reason the Apple TV 4K, even though it's set to output audio via the paired HomePods, will not do so when it's the target device for "Screen Mirror."

    Note, I have all iOS devices on the latest official OS release. All devices are on the same WiFi network.

    Is this a known limitation?

    Are there going to be any other tvos updates prior to 13 release?

    Hi all,

    I have been having problems with tvos 12.4 which I've been discussing here on reddit. For now I don't believe that the issues can be fixed on my end, so the only thing to do is wait until they fix it through firmware update. The problem is tvos 13 is months away and I don't really want to wait that long. So as the title says, is there any reason to believe that apple may release other updates before tvos 13? Thanks
