Got iPhone X on release day 2017, I've gone thru every brand of tempered glass protector and every single one has bubbles that appear 2-3 weeks AFTER installation by the volume rockers. Any one have this issue? How to fix, Ive spend damn near $200 on tempered glass protectors...

Screenshot Problem

I'm trying to screenshot a Stranger Things 3 scene but the screenshot is completely black for some reason..does it not work for Netflix? When I pause it it'll show the pause/fast forward button, but everything else is still black

Does iPhone XR support HEVC?

Still deciding on which phone to upgrade to for HEVC compatibility (from the 6s). GoPro's help article says iPhone with any processor higher than A10 but in the chart doesn't have the XR listed. Anyone have experience with this?

Hi r/iPhoneX, I'm hoping you can help me think through an upgrade decision. I've never bought a new iPhone before, always had hand-me-downs.

I'm currently using an iPhone 6 Plus and feel like it might be time to upgrade (and move away from the Plus range). I have a brand new (Apple Care+ replacement) iPhone 7 I can use right now OR sell to put against an XS or 11 upgrade.

I'm thinking about finding a refurbished iPhone X as a compromise.

I'm used to having 3-4 gen old iPhones and don't NEED to have the latest and greatest, but I'm wondering if it makes sense to stick with my 7 or get an X, then sit out 2-3 gens until the 5G models are in place.

Other factors:

- Financially I can afford an XS, I'm just very frugal and have trouble justifying the cost to myself. I do think I'd opt for the XS over XR if I'm already spending $800+ on a device, though

- Priority is "future proofing" and having a device I can enjoy for a bit

- Main use is casual use (social, photos, emails). No gaming, etc.

- As I'm new to buying new devices, I'm not sure about timing and if the XS will drop in Oct. when the 11 is out? Or if the XS might go away all together?

So, coming from the 6 Plus... will I see a nice bump with the 7 and I can use it for the next few months?

Or does it make sense to compromise with an X instead of moving on the XS now? Getting the 11 OR getting the XS when it (hopefully) drops in price?

Appreciate advice and suggestions!
