| Steam Controller with iPad/iPhone Posted: 28 Jul 2019 05:12 AM PDT I bought a steam controller for use with the Link app when it was approved by Apple and it works great for that purpose, however, I'm wondering if it's possible to use the Steam Contr. for iOS games? | Posted: 27 Jul 2019 01:28 PM PDT So Hyper Light Drifter is obviously out. Some people have mentioned from the start to use a controller. I have an iPhone 7 and don't currently have a controller, and in a lot of ways do actually prefer to use touch controls when I game. I didn't buy HLD though, and that's because I'm not sure about using the small screen and touch to play it. So my question is this: do you think some kind of return policy would help devs sell their games, or hurt the devs? It would be cool imo if apple set it up where you could have up to 1 or 2 hours of gameplay and still get to return without any hassle. That would allow someone to figure out the game enough to decide without allowing people to speed run and finish. I think it would help devs sell because I think people are already hesitant to pay for games on mobile since there are so many free games, people question if it's even worth their money when they aren't sure they will enjoy it. By this return policy, it would ease that purchasing anxiety and if the game is good people will want it. Agree, disagree? Or think a different time allotment would be better? [link] [comments]  | ||
