    As many of you do and have done on previous software builds, you have deleted stock applications in iOS for whatever reason. In iOS 13 stock apps now run from a new SDK developed on Xcode 11 using swift. Once you delete your stock app in iOS 13 and try to redownload the app from the AppStore, you will be unable to. This is because the AppStore servers do NOT have support for apps to be recompiled in Xcode 11. This means you will be unable to reinstall native stock apps until potentially after the full release of this operating system, please spread the word.

    Edit: in iOS 11 all deleted apps were merely hidden from the home screen and once redownloaded could appear even without any internet. This behavior is gone for a majority of stock apps in iOS 12 and 13 and WILL delete some apps off your device now depending on your settings with that app or how Apple caches deleted stock apps.

    Edit 2: my theory of newer devices caching apps looks to be somewhat true, I deleted the music app on my XS Max and redownloaded it no problem, however, I tried this again but rebooted after I downloaded it, and it did not work. Perhaps Apple caches the app locally in case the removal was a mistake?

    I want to disable all haptics except the home button on my iPhone 8 Plus. In iOS 12 and earlier, I could do so by disabling "System Haptics". Now, though, there are new haptics that aren't affected by that setting, such as when selecting text and when long-pressing. These new haptics are disturbing and I wish to disable them.

    How do I disable these new iOS 13 haptics?

    I think this issue started after a recent YouTube app update but possibly beta 3 is part of the issue. I've noticed this on several of my devices on the beta with the latest update.

    [discussion] I really want to use Apple maps but it seems to always want to take the route with a bunch of turns instead of taking the easier route, even if travel times are similar.

    Last night I was heading back home from family and Apple maps too side streets instead of the highway. I had to wait at stop lights and make so many turns instead of simply getting on the highway. I don't have highways turned off, I think this is just an algorithm difference between other nav apps. I wish Apple gave us the option to calculate the easier route, especially if it means cruising down the highway instead of stop and go side streets with lights and stop signs. I feel like Apple maps does this a lot. I make a lot more turns using it vs Google. Does anyone else feel the same?

    [BUG] iPhone alarms not showing up on Watch

    I am on public build and WatchOS 6.

    Usually, I sleep with my watch on, and iPhone on a wireless dock. In iOS 12, when alarm rings, watch has controls. I can stop or snooze phone alarm right on the watch. It seems that on iOS 13, this is not working. I had some random alarms do show up on my watch, but it's pretty inconsistent.

    [Question] Rolling back out of the beta

    As always I enthusiastically jumped into the beta to try out the new features. I've had issues with prior releases and rolled back no big deal. However, now I work a job and need all the stuff I've done since joining (texts both regular and iMessage), so if I roll out and go back to public release is there anyway to keep these text messages?

    [Discussion] PSA. Hold off on beta 3 (potentially the future Public Beta 2) if you use iCloud Drive

    If the upcoming public beta is anything like DB 3 then I would highly recommend skipping it if you use iCloud Drive. One known issue is that under certain circumstances your contents could be deleted after the upgrade. And also I have not been able to access any documents since updated. If you're still on beta 2 (PB 1) then stay where you are until the next round of updates.
