So this year my mom was nice enough to offer to get me a new one After researching I found out that the Air will be getting refresh in 2019 and the Pro getting it in 2020 I plan on getting the Pro But is it referring to next fall 2020? I currently have the following: 2015 15" 2.5Ghz 512GB MacBook Pro with dedicated graphic card. I used to be game/edit photos/videos but over the past year or two have mainly been using it for word processing. I was thinking of holding off until it died and then buying a MacBook Air but I was in the airport when I came across the following deal: 2019 base 15" MacBook Pro for £1,460 (normal UK price £2,349) It's probably waaaaaay more computer than I need but I figured for the price I couldn't pass on it. I was just wondering: 1. How do people manage their file storage? Cloud storage? Physical external storage? This is the most limited I've been on internal storage so I'm not sure about the best way to get around it. 2. Can you restore a backup of a 512gb MacBook to a 256gb model? It doesn't seem to want to do that. 3. I understand that there's been a keyboardgate for the past few years. Any suggestion if this generation is also affected? Thank you for any help!
