- About once every 24 hours or so a strange kernel panic randomly seizes my MacBook Pro 13" late 2011 and causes thick vertical bars and 'crunchy' audio as shown in this video. Computer is not overheating. Potential causes?

When you donwload the custom font packs in picsart where do they go and how do you use them? I downloaded a font pack from the picsart app and see it nowhere and can't use it. here is a pic https://imgur.com/a/CiY5na5 After I download them it shows those three dots ... | Problem with Importing AAC File Into GarageBand Posted: 08 Jul 2019 08:27 PM PDT I'm trying to important an audio recording I made with Quicktime into GarageBand to edit it. When I import it, I can't hear any audio. When you play the file it Quicktime, you can hear it. But you can't hear anything in GarageBand. The issue gets even more bizarre. When I import the AAC file into a previous GarageBand project, I can hear some of the file. I can hear me talking in the audio recording, but I can't hear my friends. How do I fix this problem? | iCloud Keychain saved passwords not syncing across devices Posted: 08 Jul 2019 08:01 PM PDT My keychain passwords from my MacBook (Mojave 10.14.5) aren't carrying over to my iphone (7 plus, ios13 beta). iCloud Keychain as well as auto fill is enabled on both devices. I have hundreds of passwords saved on my MacBook but only a dozen on my phone. I would like my phone's keychain passwords match what I have on my MacBook. Anyone know a fix? Thank you guys! Posted: 08 Jul 2019 07:55 PM PDT So I was just hanging out with nobody cuz I'm lonely then I realized my phone had died so when I put it on the charger nothing happened. I thought it was just the plug so I didn't do anything about it. But then I realized no charger would work, and I tried it on my iPod it worked. Idk what to do since it won't charge or power on. I have the latest version of IOS, although my phone kept saying something about carrier settings update?? I never did it though, I held it off and was going to update it later tonight. Is there any way to get it to work without erasing all my data??? I have things on there I need. I never dropped my phone and it was in a protective case ( otter box ) I got the phone only around May this year so it's not because it's too old or anything, idk what's going on with it. | Recovering deleted videos via backup? Posted: 08 Jul 2019 06:56 PM PDT Hello! I have an iPad that I got in 2016. I honestly cannot remember if I have ever synced it with iTunes or not. Some of my videos and photos from 2016/2017 were deleted (unbeknownst to me). They are not in the 30 day recently deleted folder. I do not know what date these might have been deleted, but it was probably this year. The last backup for my iPad was July 3. If I were to wipe my iPad and reset/restore it from backup, does it have to be that July 3 date? Will the iPad give me a list of backup dates so I could pick one back from, let's say, March in hope of recovering the lost videos? Or is July 3 my only option? I know I should have been putting my videos on my computer. I also unfortunately misunderstood what iCloud is. I thought it was a backup service, but now I understand it is a syncing service. I always thought if i lost something on my iPad I could just redownload it from "the cloud" but I don't think that's the case. I would have been more careful. | Apple ID between phone and iPad Posted: 08 Jul 2019 06:20 PM PDT I wanted to get some help with understanding the correlation between both devices when using same Apple ID. My setup is my iPhone XS Max and iPad Pro 12.9 - I made the big switch from Samsung when the XS Max was released and have been enjoying it so far. I recently purchased an iPad with the hopes of using it as a laptop alternative. So here are my questions so far when using the devices; 1-How do you manage the notifications from similar apps like iMessage, FB, and so forth? Since it would go off on phone and iPad at same time when you receive the notification. So now I've simply silence one while I'm using the other device. 2-I like that I can text from my iPad to contacts from my phone but even though my Apple ID is signed on it doesn't show contact name only phone numbers. 3-With the whole new iPad OS coming out soon and me using the beta safari uses desktop sites now instead of mobile sites, so wouldn't this make most apps useless now? 4-icloud and photos question, is there a way I can just leave my photos taken on phone to stay on phone until I upload to iCloud? That's it for now i guess lol but any help would be greatly appreciated. Also if there's any websites or youtubers for newcomers to resource this kind of stuff that would help. | Brand New iPad Pro 11” Battery Drain Issue Posted: 08 Jul 2019 04:29 PM PDT I apologize if this is wordy, but please stick with it, as I'm really in need of some help. So I just got an iPad Pro 11 inch. Brand new. I got it last Wednesday and opened it up Friday night. Set it up as a new device, didn't restore anything from iCloud bc I don't use iCloud. So nothing other than the TV provider settings (which is linked to your iCloud automatically) and the other default ones transferred over. Not even my apps or pictures, music, etc. Fresh start. Looked over it, updated to the most recent iOS, made sure it was fine after that, and went to bed. iPad at 72% (I plugged it in when I turned it on but unplugged the charger once I realized that it was at 73% right out of the box.) Saturday was more of the same. Changed some settings, downloaded Twitter, messed around on there for a few minutes. Came back later on at night and downloaded other apps like YT, Spotify, ESPN, CBS Sports Uber Eats, Uber, and Lyft. Looked at those, went to bed. In the 12 hour span of me not using it the battery went down 4%. Now comes yesterday, where I downloaded and logged into the rest of the apps that I have on my iPhone (manually that is). I use it for a solid 3 hours straight, just browsing my apps and stuff. Once I was done I put my iPad down and it's at 14% left. I come 4.5 hours later and it's at 11%. where I then start charging it. 2 hours after that it's at 90%, so I take it off and use it for 45 minutes straight, with my brand new Apple Pencil that I just took out of the box. I go to bed with it at 89%, very impressed at its battery life so far. I wake up this morning at 7 AM and astonishingly not only is my screen on from a notification that I received at 1 AM, but the battery is also drained to 40%. I made sure to not charge my pencil up, so that was just sitting next to the iPad. I look at the battery screen, which isn't telling my anything useful other the facts that my screen was only on for 1 minute at 1 AM (lies bc it remained on all morning until I locked it and went to work) and that my battery got obliterated over night. I got back from work 10.5 hours later and the iPad was dead. Looking at the battery settings it turned off sometime after 12 PM. So after all of this, I'm just looking to see if anybody else has had this problem, how to remedy it, and if my iPad is a dud and has a factory issue. This is frankly pretty unacceptable for a brand new machine. It could be an app issue, as I downloaded 20+ apps yesterday, a few of which could be a culprit of background refresh draining, but I just want to see what else can be the root cause. | Apple TV won't find Bluetooth Soundbar Posted: 08 Jul 2019 03:40 PM PDT When trying to go to sleep, i need to listen to an old movie or TV show. My old TV used to have a way to turn off the picture and just leave the sound on so it didn't light up the whole room.. Well the cheaper TV I have doesn't have this option and I thought I would solve it with a Bluetooth soundbar connected to my apple TV. I ordered the VIZIO SB3220n-F6 as it was under 100 bucks on amazon. Well now I get home and try to pair it and it NEVER shows up under "other devices" while it's in pairing mode. Shows up on my phone and my iPad just find. AirPods and my remote work so clearly Bluetooth on the Apple TV is working fine (guessing). So I contact Apple support and he tells me that Bluetooth Audio only works via AirPlay compatible devices. Yet there seems to be a million articles about pairing Bluetooth speakers with AppleTV!? So help me out guys, is there another solution to this? If that's true does anyone know of a soundbar that would be compatible under 100 bucks? It just seems totally bizarre to me that Bluetooth just isn't Bluetooth. [link] [comments]  |

| Digital Artist - Dual Monitor Setup - Help! Posted: 08 Jul 2019 03:16 PM PDT Hello, I have a MacBook Pro (Late 2011) - macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6. I'm a digital artist and want to connect my MacBook to my Wacom Cintiq Tablet as well as an Additional Monitor while working. I want to be able to use all 3 screens at the same time but cannot find the right product that will allow this. My MacBook does not have a Thunderbolt 3 input but it does have a Thunderbolt 2 input, which I've been using to connect the screen individually via HDMI/Thunderbolt adaptor. The only problem is that the backup of the Macbook is on an External, and I'm not sure how to transfer files from the External to the new PC. Is there a way to check the files on the External?
