Posted: 01 Jun 2019 09:23 AM PDT And no I don't have to check any settings because they are what they should be, and I use airdrop every once in a while but very rarely, like once in a month, it just won't work for go knows why. It's just the most frustrating thing because there is nothing you can do about it other than restart all your devices or try again later. Jesus I wish they can put like a refresh or reset butting for this shit somewhere so there is SOMETHING I can do when i just can't see my devices on AirDrop. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Massive Difficulties Sending and Receiving Texts from Android Phones (green bubbles) Posted: 01 Jun 2019 11:27 AM PDT Hi hello, there's no general support thread on the front page so i thought i would make a post before going to get a brand new phone - I'm having trouble with my iPhone SE. Basically, I am having a huge amount of difficulty sending and receiving normal text messages (green bubbles). iMessage texts work just fine, every single app works just fine, but when I send a text to an android phone they don't receive it for hours, and any texts from android phones that are sent to me arrive like 4 or 5 hours later, and maybe not even in order. Every morning I wake up to a full day's worth of texts that all arrived in the middle of the night. I have gone through so many trouble shooting pages. I have reset my network settings, I have updated the phone completely, I have turned so many settings off and on, I have dialed the ##UPDATE# number Sprint gave me...... yesterday I went into Sprint and they put a new SIM card into the phone, but there wasn't even a little bit of a change to this problem. Sprint isn't very helpful in figuring out what this issue is, so this is kind of my last hail mary to try to solve this. If this is pretty unusual, do you guys think that just upgrading my phone will fix this issue? Given the choice between a full on factory reset & upgrading, I think I'm leaning towards just an upgrade.... (I hope not, I got this phone in September 2017, and even though it's an older model it would suck if it didn't even last 2 full years) thanks [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 01 Jun 2019 12:12 PM PDT Hi all. The repairs under 'other damage' if it's not screen or battery related for an iPhone XS Max is an extortionate £596.44 in the UK / $ 599 in the US. I'm presuming that is the MAX you'd expect to pay for a single reapir - I can't be expected to pay that for a simple fix like a loose connection right! However for an app I use on the daily it looks absolutely potato... The selfie camera on Snapchat, it looks worse than my Samsung did... iPhone's have always had better Snapchat support, what happened? It hasn't overheated yet but stays pretty consistently warm/hot, and the battery life has been extremely weird lately. I took my phone off the charger this morning at 8:00, and two hours later I'm at 66% after only doing a little Spotify and Reddit. Anyone else having issues or can someone suggest a solution? In the clip, this bluebird drum makes quite deep and sustaining sound, so i tried myself with the same drum, and the sound was weak and temporary. I feel like Android is great and all but still a big mess even with android updates and apps fragmentations that will never be fixed. I currently use Nokia 7 plus and its not a bad phone by any means, but i feel like i'm done with Android Mess. I just wants something works with fast and timely updates. Any help appreciated. I purchased European SIM cards for them to use once they get there (they get about 30 gb of data each). I'm trying to determine the easiest way for them to make and receive US calls (they aren't very techie). I'm not sure if they'll be comfortable making and receiving calls on a European number. Does anyone know if they can receive FaceTime Audio calls on their US numbers (that are registered to iMessage) while their European SIM cards are in their phones? Thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||
| Question about Headphone microphone Posted: 01 Jun 2019 08:30 AM PDT I've just bought a Iphone 7, its my first Iphone so I'm a bit lost haha The problem is that I always use JBL bluetooth headphones that include a shitty microphone, and when I try to make Whatsapp audios, the Iphone automatically records using that microphone. Not as bad as accidental screen shots, but consequences are much worse, is there a way to disable the emergency 911 call? I do it at least once a week. I'm not even certain how I'm doing it, but it's annoying as hell. In an emergency it wouldn't do me any good because I don't even know what I pressing to do it, and any other time I don't need it, yada yada yada. Is this something I can turn off?
