    TIL the Notes app has a built in documents scanner. You just have to press the + button. Had no idea.

    People with really good battery health, what are your charging practices?

    I just got an iPhone XR and the battery health is amazing so I always want it to stay this way. I have a couple questions for people who have taken good care of their batteries:

    1. Do you charge overnight or do 40 to 80 or 20 to 80?
    2. Do you use the cord / brick that came with your phone?
    3. Do you charge wirelessly?
    4. Do you use power banks?

    Edit: Seems the trends are overnight charging with wireless charger yields the best results.

    I have an iPhone X here and there have been 2 situations where for absolute NO REASON the speakers on the phone blast random noises (so far I've heard beeping, and then buzzing) at full volume. It's honestly so alerting to wake up to this crap in the middle of the night. There's no pop up screen or anything, the phone just does it on its own. The only suspects I think could cause this are water damage because I had the phone fall into the pool at one point and we were being stupid by trying to get quick underwater pictures. I didn't really submerge the phone in for long but that's something to mention.

    Anyone use an app other than iTunes to backup to their computer?

    For some reason, the iPhone won't show up in iTunes now. This is the only reason I have iTunes on the computer so I figured I'd throw out a question to you guys to ask if you used another app to backup your phone.

    I see other apps on Google that say they do this, but is there a preferred one you guys use and like? I'm not interested in iCloud backup. I want it to stay local if at all possible.

    So I, like many others, set way more than one alarm to ensure I wake up. But if I wake up on the first alarm, I obviously have to turn the reat of them off. Thing is, I usually forget to turn them back on later that night. So is there a way to just mute the alarms instead of turning them off?

    Specifically inside the bedtime feature. I need one wake up alarm M,W,F and another for T, TH. I don't see a way to do this without manually adjusting it every night.

    The app is Femm and it's a monthly cycle tracker which send your data to anti abortion groups. I don't want to get into politics here, we all have a free choice in what we think but I think it's good that people have this knowledge before installing the app.

    Mute switch stops working after a few minutes

    After a reboot, the mute switch works with no issues for a few minutes. Then when left on mute, it will sporadically show the ringer/mute toggle overlay a few times. From that point on, the switch seems to do nothing. I question whether the hardware is broken because it works fine after a reboot. Is this a known iOS bug?
