    'learner' non linear video editing software? iPad mini 5 and iPad 2018 is in use

    my SO wants to learn how to make her videos better and film some stuff she is into.

    currently all we have for her is iPad mini 5 and iPad 2018 (either one). I would like to get some software to get her familiar with video, editing process, fixing artifacts, color palettes and other stuff.

    so am looking for some software that would run on iPad and that could do that.

    video will be filmed on Sony a6000 and exported to iPad (lightning usb camera adapter).

    I currently found that LumaFusion could be a decent pick. Is it? Is there any other good options?

    ​

    It has to be something to be able to be purchased permanently.

    I simply refuse to accept anything that requires subscription for software to work/run (i.e. Adobe Offerings).

    SlickWraps, dBrand skin owners - does it work with the iPad Pro keyboard?

    I'd like to get a slickwaps skin for my iPad Pro 11" but will the keyboard still connect to the dock connectors on the back? I see holes on the back of the skin but will the connectors still make solid contact?

    Appreciative of anyone sharing their experience.

    Can you do a tethered shoot over USB C with a Sony A7 Alpha III?

    SSH-Tunnel app

    Anyone know how to setup SSH Tunnel app to work for multiple ports? I have it setup so that I can map 127.0.0.1:5000 -> myhost:5000, but can't figure out how to get it working with a range or set of ports (e.g. 5000:8000 or 5000,5500)

    Can it do things like that?

    Why is Apple cutting prices on iPads? Safe to buy iPad within next few months?

    As titled; I've seen scores of headlines about iPads going on sale everywhere; Amazon, B&H, etc.

    Generally price drops like that do not occur unless a manufacturer is trying to clear out old inventory ahead of a new product drop.

    I am strongly considering getting myself the new 12.9" iPad in the next few months, but I don't want to purchase the current / latest generation 12.9" Pro if another one may be released this fall or Q4 2019.

    What do you guys think?

    Do we have new iPads on the horizon or are iPad sales just sluggish so that's the reason for the sales?

    Reddit app with drag and drop support?

    Simple question, are there any Reddit apps out there that actually support drag and drop for sharing posts/images on iPad? It doesn't seem like the official app will ever get that functionality, but it would be awesome for quick sharing.

    Another usb c question (iPad Pro 11)

    Hey all,

    I've searched for this and can't seem to find a final answer anywhere so thought I'd ask here as it usually seems to get the results. If anybody has seen another thread please point me in the right direction.

    On the iPad Pro 11 if I use a usb c to usb connector(non Apple just a cheap adapter) , and plug in a usb stick, will i be able to access photos/videos/ movies I have saved on and other files text/pdf etc in the files app? Also is it possible to move files/photos/videos from my iPad Pro to the usb stick?

    Seem to find some conflicting evidence so anybody with the pro that could answer these questions from experience would be hugely appreciated!

    Hi all,

    I'm new to the iPad, enjoying it so far. I just wonder if the iPad with lightning port work with a traditional wired keyboard, and if yes, what adapter is required? I know that the newest iPad Pro works natively with keyboards that has USB-C, but no one seems to test that functionality with this 'old' model.

    Secondly, how does it work with HDMI? Is it mirroring only or some options for extended display are available?
