What are some games that are screaming to be ported to iOS?

    Posted: 11 Jun 2019 08:16 AM PDT

There's a couple games that I would go bananas for if they were ever ported to iOS:

    • Faeria
    • TES Skyrim
    • Celeste
    • Fallout 3 / NV
    • Rimworld

When you consider that the Nintendo Switch's processor was designed in 2014, it's a safe assumption the iPhones can easily crank out some of the bigger games that were ported to Switch. Hence the dream of Skyrim and/or Fallout 3/NV.

But I would back up a truck of money for any of these to come to mobile.

What is your dream wish list?

Currently Obsessed with Archero, What a Gem! Any Recommends Like it?

    Posted: 11 Jun 2019 09:07 AM PDT

Archero has been scratching my grind, upgrade, repeat itch better than anything in a while.

I am enjoying each run's different/ideal combinations of weapons and how the powers interact with each other. Going into a room that wiped you out earlier on a new run with double axes, double shot, piercing shot, and rebound all loaded up watching a room get decimated is much more rewarding than I had thought it would be.

The controls are simple, the art work is pleasant, and there's enough bonuses to play for long or short runs. Is there anything like this I could play that has a similar feel?

Are there online shooters like Overwatch for iOS devices? Preferably not pay2win ones, free or paid.

    The fate of MFi controllers

    Posted: 10 Jun 2019 10:53 PM PDT

There would be no point in owning mfi controllers after iOS 13 imo. Can companies like steelseries update their controllers to add support for other platforms (i.e. android) via a software update?

Any games that support touch controls and steam link app? (Not emulated controller?)

    Posted: 10 Jun 2019 05:34 PM PDT

Not even sure if this is even technologically possible, but thinking back to Civilization on Windows 8 having a touch screen option.

So wondering if any (many?) PC games you can access via steam link have native touch support or if they all require controller or controller emulation.

Fortnite on the Mac is currently unplayable. Recently Apple announced that any app coded for an iPad will be able to be run in a day on the Mac. They showed an example of this at the Apple event with Asphalt 9. What if Epic used apple's new API and got Fortnite mobile running on Mac. (PC Servers) :)

    Multiplayer pvp/ maby mmorpg

    Posted: 10 Jun 2019 07:01 PM PDT

So I've played so many games from the beginning just to find them semi boring. I just watched some gameplay from darkness rises, and it looks interesting. What are your favorite PVP games? It could be FPS/RPG/raid games. I wouldn't ask but I've tried atleast 20 games in the past few months, really would like some suggests. I mean open world games are cool, ark seemed fun but didn't play too much yet. I've been playing cyber hunter if you've heard of it, and it's honestly fun.

Looking for a game similar to the Topps card traders, or any game where trading and collecting is the core feature.

    Posted: 10 Jun 2019 03:09 PM PDT

I spent an absurd amount of time playing and collecting cards in the Topps Star Wars cars trading game over 4 years ago and loved every minute of it. Unfortunately, after redownloading, my progress was reset and I lost everything. I don't really want to start over on that game again, and it looks like more of it has been locked behind a paywall than before, but I loved the chase aspect of opening cards and trading for others for a specific set.

It doesn't necessarily need to be a card based game, but essentially anything where trading and collecting is the core mechanic.

How are games likes Jetpack Joyride made?

    Posted: 10 Jun 2019 11:47 AM PDT

    Hi guys,

I was wondering with which programming language, dev tool kit or engine games like JJ, Flappy Bird, Choppa etc are made.

Are these all made with Swift/Xcode?

I am sorry, but I have no clue about iOS game development.
