| ATV4 HD only showing ethernet as option Posted: 09 May 2019 09:22 PM PDT When I initially set this device up I had to use an Ethernet connection because i did not have a remote. I used my iPhone as a remote until I finally got the Siri remote. I tried connecting to WiFi but there's no option for me to do so at all. I disconnected the Ethernet, i restarted the atv more than once, I reset and unplugged my router, I even reset the Apple TV to factory settings to no avail . They gave me the option to use Bluetooth from my phone to setup the atv with my settings (Apple ID and WiFi etc) but it didn't work. So i decided to do it manually, and it's still just showing Ethernet. I don't have Ethernet connected on the device either. What sorcery is this ? Anyone been in a similar situation that's found a solution? Or does anyone know what else I can do? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 09 May 2019 12:24 PM PDT According to my knowledge infuse will send DTS-HD MA and Dolby TrueHD audio as uncompressed multichannel LPCM up to 7.1 and 24-bit resulting in no audio loss. If this is the case are we going to notice any sound difference when apple do allow pass through for Apps like infuse, plex, etc? Will the receiver showing Atmos instead of pcm bring any difference? If there won't be any difference then why do we need pass through Atmos soo bad on Apple Tv 4K? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Stop "Up Next" from displaying certain tv shows Posted: 09 May 2019 08:46 PM PDT I love the feature of shows I watch actually popping up on the "Up Next" section. That way I don't forget about tv shows, but I need it to stop with some app shows. For example, when I click on the ESPN app and watch a game. Then go the home screen, the ESPN app or the game I was watching is in the "Up Next" section. I remember the Apple Tv asking me to use the App in the "watch" section. How can I remove the Apple Tv from doing this with certain apps? I have held the touch pad and click remove from "up next". But when I go back to watch a different EPSN show, it pops up in the "Up Next" as well. Thanks. [link] [comments]  | ||
