[Bugs] iOS 12.3 beta 3 can only be installed if you are running iOS 12.3 beta 2 Posted: 24 Apr 2019 12:43 AM PDT Apologies if I'm stating the obvious, but it wasn't obvious to me. If you're not running iOS 12.3 beta 2, you cannot upgrade to beta 3. I jumped out of the iOS public beta program when 12.2 was officially released, but tonight I decided to jump back in and give 12.3 beta 3 a try. I enrolled my device, downloaded the profile and rebooted but when I checked for software updates, nothing showed up. After searching for a while, I checked the beta 3 release notes and found the answer in the "Known Issues" section... "iOS 12.3 beta 3 can only be installed if you are running iOS 12.3 beta 2." [Question] New Phone Won't Update to Beta iOS Posted: 24 Apr 2019 11:41 AM PDT So I have a new iPhone XR and an old iPhone 7 details below: iPhone 7: 12.3 Public Beta iPhone XR: 12.2 I have done a backup of my old iPhone 7 in order to restore it to my new XR. I have had issues before with having to set the phone up as new, update the iOS, erasing it and then having to restore it from the backup. I have enrolled my XR and installed the beta profile (it appears exactly the same as it does on my iPhone 7) however, when I go to Software update, it says I am on the latest version (12.2) and fails to acknowledge it should be looking for the public beta. I have wiped this phone and tried to do it again about 5 times now, using different wifi in case it was a network restriction. I have no previous backup I can work from, does anyone know a way of me getting my new XR on the latest beta iOS as it will not find it in software update menu at all! I have spoken to apple on twitter and they seem to be out of ideas. [link] [comments]

[Question] Do you get low mic volume with USB-C adapter on 12.3 b3 ? Posted: 24 Apr 2019 09:34 AM PDT Using iPad Pro 12.9 2018 - Mic volume with airpods is fine, with inbuilt mics is fine however when I plug in my Bose QC15 to my USB-C adapter I get very low mic volume, almost inaudible. I've checked the headset plugged into my Macbook Pro direct and the mic works fine still. Also it was working with the iPad / USB-C adapter when on Beta 12.3 Beta 2 however since the update to b3 it's borked. Anyone else seeing the same issue or able to confirm either way? Perhaps it's just my adapter and I need to goto the Apple store and exchange it. [link] [comments]
