Looking for Star Fox-style on-rails flying games Posted: 01 Mar 2019 07:45 AM PST Any recommendations? Star Horizon exists too but it doesn't have great reviews. Looking to see if anyone else has a favorite or anything. [link] [comments]

Looking for a specific type of freemium management game Posted: 01 Mar 2019 08:34 AM PST I'm looking for a fun game of a specific type. I remember when I was young, I used to play games where you would have to manage a criminal organisation like a mafia or some kind of guild in a fantasy setting. You used ressources to send people on quests then use the money to upgrade your stuff and send character on bigger quests. It was on a freemium model with energy. I know that right now this could be one of the most popular type of game but I'm looking for something that is text based (so no real gameplay, just click, wait and manage) or turn based combat. I'd prefer a fantasy setting but I wouldn't mind something else as long as it's text based. Only columns of text with not 3d graphics would be even better. I simply need something to do in my 30 min bus ride every morning. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Looking for a new fun/dumb time wasting game, one where I don’t need to worry too much if I lose Posted: 01 Mar 2019 10:44 AM PST Maybe one of those ball shooter games, or a match 3 game with rpg-lite elements. Something I can play in 3-5 minute bursts more or less indefinitely. Something where if I screw up, I haven't lost hours of progress, or something so complex where I'll be afraid to make a sub-optimal move and lose the whole thing. Something level-based might be preferred. I'm thinking something like Angry Birds before they started selling you so many birds you didn't know if you could 3-star a level without paying. It can be free or paid, I just don't want any microtransactions. IAP is fine if I buy an "expansion" and then just have it forever. Coin doublers are also okay if I can still play and enjoy a game without feeling I'm just grinding forever. Also needs to have muteable sound so I can listen to podcasts/whatever while I play. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]
Trying to think of an ios game I used to play in 2011-2012 Posted: 01 Mar 2019 12:20 AM PST This has been on my mind for the past few days. It was a 3d monster breeding game sort of like dragonvale, singing monsters, etc etc. Had a 3d cubic art style. One of the starting creatures looked like a gecko if I recall. You would buy habitats themed to the type of creature that you placed in there. You could also battle. Anyone know the game? Might have had island in the name; I'm honestly not sure... Thanks. Posted: 01 Mar 2019 02:21 AM PST Does one exist? I'm looking to get into a card game, but I'm not a fan of fantasy. [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Mar 2019 09:10 AM PST Hi all! I stumbled upon this mobile mmo a little while ago, and there's something there. The player count is small, but it's up to us all to make it bigger ! It's a full fledged mobile mmo, with open pvp, dungeons, guilds, quests and all. And there's no autoplay. Also, it's hard, and death has consequences, which reminds me of the old day ... It's f2p with a membership to access some zones (think osrs) Anyway, seriously you should check it out. Come to Teon and let's have some old school mmo fun !!! You can join the discord too, cool people there: Teon - All Fair Hardcore ARPG par Lakoo https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/teon-all-fair-hardcore-arpg/id1240710221?l=fr&mt=8 [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Feb 2019 10:49 PM PST Just wondering what the odds would be for pokemon games coming to mobile devices? This has already been done by franchises like final fantasy and dragon quest and thought why is pokemon not on the appstore as I would love to revisit some of the nastalgia of pokemon black/white and other games I played when I was young. You could only imagine how much money they would make lol. [link] [comments]
