Never buy games for my iPhone but need to Posted: 22 Feb 2019 08:49 AM PST So I have had iPhone since iPhone 3, and I have bought only 2 games since then and that has been Plague, and The Room (the entire collection) outside of that I haven't bought a single game, only downloaded free games with terrible scaling and IAP's. The two games I have bought into I have played very religiously and to completion (except plague obviously because of replay ability) and I love both names listed but I always have an itch I can't scratch with mobile games. Here's the itch.... I want a game that gives me development, gives me a grind, visually attractive, and has either Brand behind it or characters that are easy to get attached to. With these 4 main things most have recommended me Gacha style games, that being said I've held onto some for time, Galaxy of Heroes and Strike Force both kept me entertained for a lengthy time (GOH for 3 yrs and SF for about 9 months) but I always get burnt out from claiming energy, dedicating hours on end a day to accelerate and keep positions etc. I want to find something that has a strong hold on you from the start, I'd love to find something that has Marvel, Star Wars, and other big names like it or find something on its own that has really good characters to fall in love with. I think this time around I'm willing to actually spend money on a great game but I do want to know what's special about the game being referred to me if you wouldn't mind breaking it down for me. Someone please help a desperate gamer looking for entertainment while on the road for work all the time. [link] [comments]

Mad at game requiring internet connection Posted: 21 Feb 2019 05:28 PM PST Frankly, I cannot bare games that do not logically require an internet connection. I just downloaded Space Wolf. It really looks great. However, it requires to be connected, in campaign mode. Requiring internet means that the game startup is slow, I cannot reliably play in a taxi, in metro, or not at all in a plane. Am I the only one to feel this? I wish App Store would mention whether an internet connection is mandatory for each app. Is there an alternative to Space Wolf that is more friendly to mobile? [link] [comments]
Trying to remember an older game Posted: 21 Feb 2019 07:10 PM PST The game was a top-down strategy game. The theme was space marines vs aliens, but it wasn't Warhammer, it may have predated Warhammer's entrance to ios gaming, but I could be wrong. You commanded a troop of 4 or so space marines trying to complete different objectives, which included getting to the end of the level alive or kill everything. The space marines themselves could specialist in different skills, such as a tank character or a runner, as well as different weapons, i.e. shotgun, chaingun (I think), and sniper rifle. When you moved or attacked, it used up action points, which I think were little round dots on the GUI. I think they produced a sequel as well. Thank you! [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Feb 2019 11:00 AM PST About 5 years ago, I played a game on my ipod and I've been trying to find it for a while. I remember that it was a 2d anime, auto fighter game, which sounds generic, but I remember specifically that it included characters such as Master Yi from league of legends and other league characters, it also included a few marvel characters and characters from the anime One Piece on top of others. This is just a post to see if anyone else remembers or plays this game, because I really want to play it, but am unable to find it. [link] [comments]
