Any games like Book of Heroes (Venan)?

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 07:12 AM PST

It seems it's a dead game now - are there any games that are like it? I loved the whole getting gear, fighting enemies and bosses with skills and upgrading weapons - crafting and everything. It just seemed like a perfect game to me. Was easy to get into and didn't require hours on hours.

I tried the forums, but nothing has been posted in a year. Just looking for a replacement that is as good or better, if there is even a game out there like that.

    Detective / Mystery solving games?

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 01:20 AM PST

I recently installed Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment on my Xbox, I've got it from "games with gold" sometime but haven't played it until now. Got really suck in to it and I've been playing like crazy these couple of days.

I was wondering if there is any good detective games or like mystery solving games on iOS? It's not especially the mini-game aspect I'm looking for even if that's a part of it, I just want the whole thing with looking for clues, examine evidence, finding suspects etc. I know about The Room series and have tried the free trial, but that feels like its just "mini-games" and not so much solving a case or a mystery.

The only ones I've can think of now that I've tried before is CSI: Hidden Crimes, The X-Files: Deep State and Detective Story: Jack's Case and all of them are free games with energy system BS and all that free microtransaction stuff in them.. Didn't really liked any of them!

I don't mind if its a payed game or a free, any suggestions?

What are the best free RPG/Card/Strategy games that have progression?

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 10:19 AM PST

I don't mind the timers or energy systems as I will have a lot of free time with the new job.

Currently I'm trying C&C Rivals, Wild Beyond, SimCity, The Sims Mobile, and have been playing Clash Royale for a good while.

What are the best free RPG/Card/Strategy games that have progression, are either online/offline, just judging by the experience of the game itself?

    Thanks in advance!

    Compatible iOS Fortnite Controllers

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 09:16 AM PST

I know the nimbus works with fortnite on iOS along with most MFi controllers, however in Australia the nimbus costs close to $100 (more then an Xbox controller by a fair amount).

Has anyone had luck with a cheaper controller? Pros/Cons?

Not after a competitive advantage or anything like that, merely play on Xbox and can't get used to the touch controls. It would only be used when I'm not home which is why I can't really justify dropping a hundo.

    Thanks guys

Immortal Conquest. A F2P, MMO City Builder with a card aspect called “Gairos,” with the ability to apply tons of skills and assess attributes to these Gairos.

Immortal Conquest-War Strategy by NetEase Games https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/immortal-conquest-war-strategy/id1164425232?mt=8

I have been playing this game for over two years now, on and off actually because this game is extremely addicting. I keep coming back though because it's just such a well made game. This may be a bad comparison, but think Game of War by MachineZone, without the heavy P2W aspect.

This game does offer IAP, but Gairo pulls are completely and utterly random. I've seen some F2P players hold up against and even beat P2W players. This game is huge and has a massive learning curve. It may not even take your first run through to get it all.

The developers have had many opportunities to move Immortal Conquest into the more P2W setting, but NetEase hasn't advertised this game (at least not in the US), and their updates have been to change the free mechanics of the game to make improvements, and not adding IAP.

A new server should be opening soon. They usually open one every 2-3 weeks, and we're entering week 3, so a fresh start for everyone would be good.

I have won three Global servers with my friends, teammates, and alliance. I no longer lead, but if you want to know more about this game, ask away! I play casually.

Good tycoon games that can be played offline?

    Posted: 05 Feb 2019 04:43 PM PST

I've been playing the shiz out of Stardew Valley, and just purchased Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic and Pocket City. I'd be especially interested in another farming or cooking themed tycoon. Any recommendations?

Looking for a simulation game like Pocket City, where you can be a dictator or an evil ruler

    Posted: 05 Feb 2019 12:01 PM PST

I've been playing Pocket City and love it, but was wondering if there are any games similar to this where you can play as an evil overlord or a dictator instead, where the goal is to keep people in like and prevent rebellion, form some sort of totalitarian movement ... I dont know if it's possible, but it would be awesome if it was.

I might make an open world mmorpg for mobile, what are your suggestions?

    Posted: 05 Feb 2019 11:35 PM PST

I might make an open world mmorpg game.

Right now I'm experimenting with making an open world engine for mobile and a player based economy. I'm not completely sure what will become of this but it might be a mmorpg of sorts,

These are a few of the the questions I have, but any idea or suggestion is greatly appreciated: - What is your ideal mmorpg? - What aspects of already existing mobile games and mmorpgs for PCs and console do you like? - If you could transfer real money into your game account and you could buy stuff from other players for real money, what would you think of a transaction fee (of say 1 or 2 cents)? - What mmorpgs do you like? - what mobile games have the best UI? - have you encountered any frustrations with the limits of mobile for gaming? - what negative things do you associate with mobile gaming? - how often do you use headphones/earbuds/speakers when playing a mobile game? - how important is sound to you in mobile games?
