[Discussion] Anyone else still experiencing the “beautygate” on iPhone XS?

I've recently upgraded my iPhone 7 to an iPhone XS Max and straight away I noticed that my front camera doesn't take as nice and as sharp photos compared to my iPhone 7 front camera. The beautygate was supposed to be fixed in iOS 12.1 but am still experiencing it on iOS 12.1.4. Any suggestions on how to fix this ?

Before you are quick to comment, yes I've (repeatedly) checked individual app notification settings for the few random, unrelated apps that have essentially stopped displaying badges on home screen.

Not sure whether this is beta related or if anyone else has ever dealt with/has a fix for this? Thanks in advance...

[Bug] iOS 12.2 Beta 3 FaceTime audio notification bug?

Anyone else having FaceTime audio calls disappear if you don't pick them up (no missed call notification), or disappearing from the missed call list entirely. This seems to be only an audio issue and not a FaceTime video issue.
