    Welcome to today's 'Joined the Club'/Standard Config Megathread.

    This is the place for standard configuration configs (those that can be bought off Apple's website as a bundle). If you have a custom watch/band combo, please post it outside the thread!

    Well, it finally happened. I finally accidentally fully contacted emergency services when swapping my watch band.

    Looked at my watch after feeling a whole bunch of haptics as usual because I can't NOT press the buttons while swapping bands. It said EMERGENCY SERVICES and the End Call Button. I've never accidentally gone that far before and I didn't know if it actually went through so I pressed End call. Then I got a phone call 3 seconds later and it was my local town 911. I severely apologized saying it was an accident with my Apple watch and they kindly understood.

    I don't swap bands often so I don't really have a good method of doing so. I'm probably just going to start turning it off and my band swap will conveniently, accidentally turn it back on and i'll be done with swapping by the time it's booted up! Lol. Feel free to roast me and my incompetence lol.

    Alternate app to play music or audiobooks?

    I'm having an issue where my car will randomly play a song and not continue on my playlist or audiobook. Is there an alternate app for my watch that can store audiobooks or music? I use Overwatch for Podcasts and it works perfectly with my car (remembers where I left off, easy to control etc)

    Three years ago, I released Complicate It. This week, I released a major update for it to allow all features to be accessed directly from the watch. Check it out!

    So, in case you didn't know, Complicate It is an Apple Watch app that enables you to put custom complications on your watch face. You can:

    • Type simple text and/or emojis that will stay on your watch face indefinitely.
    • Choose times for these phrases to appear.
    • Create a set of phrases for your watch to randomly cycle through.
    • Set a countdown towards a future event.
    • Place a preset icon (I call them badges) on your watch face.

    Prior to this week, most of the functionality depended on using the iPhone to create and send data to the watch.

    But I've just added all five features to the Apple Watch so that the iPhone is no longer necessary. From your watch, you can choose what type of complication you'd like to set, speak into the microphone on your watch, and optionally set a time for it to appear.

    I think this app has a lot of potential, and I'd love it if you gave it a try. (And gave me some feedback!)

    App to display current HR while exercising on phone?

    Hi! Does anyone know of an app that can display my current HR during a workout on my phone? I need to keep track of my HR while using a rowing machine, and it's really awkward to let go of the handle for a second to check my wrist, so I'd rather just have my phone in front of me.

    FITIV does this well based on the free trial, but the monthly subscription is crazy expensive. I don't mind paying for a bit for an app, just not $5/month! Are there any other apps that do this?

    Bought an original Apple Watch 42mm sport right after launch. Broke the screen a year and half later, used AppleCare + and received a series 1 as a replacement. The series 1 came damaged so the Apple store gave me a brand new series 1 to fix the mess up, I bought apple care on that new series 1. Fast forward another year and I broke the screen again(yah I could be more careful). I use applecare+ and receive a series 2 replacement! What customer service, thanks apple! Edit: spelling

    Can I change the numbers on my watch face to another language (for example: Arabic) without changing the language for all of the watch?

    I would like to change my Apple Watch's Face numbers to a different language whilst keeping the rest of the Watch's Language as English. Is this possible? Please let me know if you know how to.

    Has anyone realized that the weather conditions complication has two other colors? The cloud and wind can be white, yellow, and blue. Does anyone know what they mean?
