    Auto Sleep Draining Battery

    Posted: 25 Feb 2019 07:30 AM PST

I was using auto sleep and only seeing my watch batter decrease about 10%-15%.

In the last few weeks it has been going down 40%. Anyone have a similar experience? Does it have to do with a recent update?

    All about that band rotation

    I need some help.

    Posted: 25 Feb 2019 05:57 AM PST

The Apple Watch I have recently bought my gf, face has completely just fallen off. Never dropped it, never hit it on anything still in amazing condition (except the face is dangling off.) Have sent it back to Apple and been in to an Apple store only to be told that this isn't under warranty and they will charge 350AUD to repair.

Is there a further step I can take? She loved using the watch before it busted and I don't wanna see all that money go down the drain.

    Thanks guys :(

    Sharing the same Apple Watch?

    Posted: 25 Feb 2019 05:16 AM PST

My wife and I were thinking of sharing one Apple Watch. In reading some articles, it seems like the only way to do this would be to constantly pair and unpair the watch to use it with each of our phones, buy another Apple Watch or not unpair it and just endure wrong notifications.

Has anyone tried to share an Apple Watch with someone else for a while? Did it work for you?

If we were to go the unpair / pair route, should there be any concern about software glitches or something if we constantly did that?

Want a recommendation for a wet-applied edge-to-edge screen protector, that'd cover the existing scratches.

    Posted: 25 Feb 2019 12:20 AM PST

A few days ago, I've scratched my Apple Watch screen in several places. Seems, like it was some sand or something. There are many scratches of various depth.

After reading up on it, I've decided to buy some protector film with a wet installation, that would hopefully cover at least some of those scratches.

Doesn't hurt to try, does it? What films do you use if any? I would prefer ones that would bend in the edges and cover the whole display and bezels, instead of just a flat front part.

    Thanks!

Slightly confused about the difference between GPS and GPS+Cellular

    Posted: 24 Feb 2019 06:53 PM PST

I am thinking about getting a Series 4, but am hesitant to shell out an extra $100 for the cellular option. The apple website said that with just the GPS model, you can connect to your phone via bluetooth, so does that mean you can still utilize cellular data from your phone, but just not via hotspot?

Is the cellular only beneficial if you don't keep your phone on you at all times?

If anyone could explain the extent of the abilities for GPS, as well as the limitations, it would be much appreciated :)

Why would I use the Runkeeper app on the watch?

    Posted: 25 Feb 2019 01:05 AM PST

    Hello!

So I have the watch for a couple of weeks now. Before, I uses Runkeeper on my iPhone to track my runs.

Now, I use the watchOS built-in Activities to track them.

But why would I use the Runkeeper app? When I start an activits on the runkeeper app, will it also be logged to the watchOS Activity App? Will it keep data in both, Runkeeper and the native watchOS Activity app? Seems a little redundant for me...

I'm a little confused here, maybe someone can shed a little light on this ...

    Does this battery look swollen?

    Posted: 25 Feb 2019 12:48 AM PST

My Apple Watch series 3 has some weird apple watermark on it that won’t go away.

    Posted: 24 Feb 2019 08:07 PM PST

I can use it as normal except if you looks closely there's the apple logo and some rings around it that are very faint and make the screen look as if it's glitching. Is there a way to fix this?

Edit: this is what I'm talking about

If you look at the mail app and iMessage app you can see the rings well

    WiFi connection with VPN

    Posted: 24 Feb 2019 06:16 PM PST

Before I purchase a Apple Watch I would like to get confirmation this will work. Will the watch still be able to connect to my iPhone over WiFi only even if I am running a VPN on the iPhone? I leave my phone on my desk at work and roam around the building (which has good WiFi on the same network.) However I use a VPN on my phone and want to make sure it will still be able to connect.

App to export and analyze activity data

    Posted: 24 Feb 2019 05:48 PM PST

Is there a app which allows me to see my more in depth data from my activity I've made with the Apple Watch? In example how many times I did certain exercises the amount of calories burned with those exercises in comparisons others?

    Minimalist bands?

Looking for mainly a leather band but other materials will work. Something with no visible stitching, square lug ends and square buckle. Thank you!

    Apple Watch through airports

    Posted: 24 Feb 2019 04:28 PM PST

Simple question. I've flown by myself before and had my passes on the watch. Traveling as a group of 5 soon and wondering if all 5 of our passes will display on my watch?

Sell a Fitbit user on the merits of the S4

    Posted: 24 Feb 2019 10:13 PM PST

Alright, so I'm a long term (6+ years) Fitbit user. I've been sporting the Fitbit blaze since it came out and it's getting close to upgrade time. I really like the idea of an Apple Watch but I feel like it's largely redundant tech when I have my phone in my pocket all the time anyways. The cellular option might justify it, but I still have the phone on me all the time for work anyways so it's still kind of redundant...

I've also heard (and I'm sure there's mixed opinions on this) that the Apple watches don't compare to Fitbit in terms of pedometer or sleep tracker functionality or data collection. My biggest complaint with Fitbit is it doesn't integrate with Apple health.

So the question is: Why should I drop nearly $300 CAD more on an Apple Watch? Where's the benefit that makes it not a redundant extension of my phone?
