It seems as though every week I have to go through all of my channels like AHC, Cooking Channel, HGTV, NatGeo, etc, and activate them again by going to the website and getting a stupid code! One or two wouldn't be so bad, but I have like 10 or 15 and it gets really tiresome. And you have to do it, because you can't watch anything or access saved favorite shows until you do. | Posted: 21 Feb 2019 08:54 PM PST I have tv sub via Hulu Live which gives me access to the Bravo app sign in. I remotely walked my mother in law through signing into it, but she cannot find the live tv option, or the list of ALL shows. I think I know the answer to the all shows issue. The website shows all shows when logged in, but their app must only have new stuff. However I have no idea what the deal with the live stream of bravo is. She cannot find the button to watch it live in the app, but the app store description flat out says it has live tv option inside the app. I signed into it on my android phone and I have the live option. Does anyone know what the deal is or where the live option is in the apple tv app? [link] [comments]  |

I already have Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts, and I understand that there are apps on the Apple TV that will give access to those. How do I get access to broadcast, and cable channels on the apple TV? Are there apps for that? Keep in mind I want everything to be legal and on the up and up. Thanks for your help! | Anyone else have playback problems with the DAZN app? Posted: 21 Feb 2019 10:50 PM PST I regularly encounter issues with the DAZN app where I click to play a past event I missed and it simply won't play. I know the click registered because the box size changes but then nothing. This seems to only be an issue with archived events as live events always play. Sometimes force quitting the app and re-launching it will fix but sometimes I have to resort to playing via AirPlay from my phone. [link] [comments]  |
| Movies Disappearing From Library Posted: 21 Feb 2019 08:21 PM PST I was on my Apple 4K TV and my '4K & HDR' along with 'Movies' section had 16 movies disappear. After looking through all my movies the following movies have disappeared from the above areas, but are available by a Siri remote search:
Another weird thing I have is 2 Harry Potter #6 listed in my 4K & HDR and one wants me to buy the movie, the other will play it like normal when clicked on. I have updated my Apple TV to 12.1.2. My iTunes is linked to Movies Anywhere and all of the above movies still appear there in original format. Any idea what is going on? Any help is greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  |

| tv set to power down after 30 minutes, but stays on for hours Posted: 21 Feb 2019 06:17 AM PST Not sure why this is happening, but whenever I've had my device set to turn off after 30 or 60 minutes, I've come back hours later and still see the white light on it still glowing. It has been on as long as 4-5 hours past the time it was supposed to turn off. I've double-checked the settings and they're correct, but it still stays on. So, aside from the obvious issue, is this behavior going to shorten the life of the device? [link] [comments]  |

I've read about 2.5 ghz and 5 ghz but I don't know where to change that, on my router? Other than that I don't know what can be the problem. But the apple tv in my bedroom works fine and the apple tv with the sonos beam stops working as soon as I turn on the sonos, I have tried this several times now to make sure. [link] [comments]  |

If I restart the Apple TV it works again for a while. Strangely it works on my Samsung TV remote. Any help or similar experiences would be appreciated. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 21 Feb 2019 07:21 AM PST Sadly, I need to replace my ATV with a Fire Stick. I bought the ATV first, and then a Fire Cube for the other TV, and this is going to cause a conflict with Sling TV and an AirTV. This is no fault of Apple, but rather Sling's app. [link] [comments]  |
