    Macbook Keyboard Bezel

    In the mobile phone world, everyones focussed on how much bezel a phone has, the thinner the better etc. And lesser so in the laptop world...

    ​

    However I want to discuss what MacBook owners think about the bezel (if you can call it that) or the space between where the keyboard ends (left and right) and the edges of the laptop.

    ​

    I have both the Macbook 12 and MacBook Pro 13 and personally I prefer the edge-to-edge design of the Macbook 12 keyboard. It just looks slicker when compared the MacBook Pros with the grill on either side.

    Granted, the grill on either side of the pro keyboards does look damm good, but again I prefer the tighter edge-to-edge layout on the Pros

    ​

    I had hoped that when Apple re-releasedthe air that it would be in the style of the Macbook 12 keyboard just bigger. Instead they went with the grills either side of the keyboard like the pros.

    Im also hoping that with the new releases this year, that they go with the edge-to-edge design on the pros... here's hoping :-)

    I'm having a hard time looking for a 2012-2013 Retina Macbook Pro.

    Hello! After being a Windows user for all of my life I am really interested in a MBP. I was looking at the 2012-2013 Retina models since they seem to be cheaper and seem ideal for me. Im new to the whole Macbook thing and Im having a hard time finding a Retina Macbook for under 400$. It doesnt need to be top of the line but something that can run Mojave good. I need to know what to look out for and what to avoid thank you!.

    I have a MacBook Pro (15 - mid2010) with 8GB of Ram, 240 Kingston SSD, original HHD 320, and graphic issue (kernel panic due to motherboard fail). I use this mac only for Logic Pro editing, not graphic works, and works really well, but I wonder if I can give new life by installing Mojave since is actually stuck with Sierra. The wifi card is 0x14E4, 0x93 which seems to be supported (right?). My question is, since I use this macbook only for logic and as graphic issue, should I install Mojave even if it's unsupported? If someone of you performed this, do you think was worth it? Or should I stay with Sierra?

    Is it bad putting a MacBook Pro on your lap or on blanket?

    Because of the placement of the fans I wonder if its bad to use it on your lap or on blanket? I've done it and it doesn't get hot or anything, the fan doesn't even start, because while on my lap or blanket I use Safari or I watch a movie, nothing else. But I want to know if this can be harmful for the laptop? Not necessarily at the moment, but can it come back to bite me in the future?
