    Really love the Whatsapp on the iPhone. Shame they don't have it on the iPad, i tried to google where to submit requests but was not able to find the right place to do that. Does anybody feel the same and know where to request it :)?

    How to stop iPad Pro from opening photos every time I charge my phone?

    I use this feature all the time to charge my iPhone, it's super useful, but I can't figure out how to stop the iPad Pro from opening the photos app whenever I plug it in and trying to sync photos.

    Ordered the new iPad Pro 11 and took it out of the box... downloaded a few essential apps and watched a YouTube video. Right away I realize there's a few scratches on the screen already... especially a few that I can feel when I run my nail across it. This can't be normal right? Should I take it back and return/exchange it?

    Uses for an older iPad?

    I initially bought iPad for achool, but i'm thinking of ways to utilize my iPad after I graduate. The one i got is the 2017 iPad Pro 12.9.

    Any ideas? Problem is that the 12.9 is not as mobile, so it wouldn't make as much sense to be something like an ebook reader or auch. Not too interested in rhings like digital photoframes or smart home control as well. I was thinking of incorporating it into a desk setup, but a second monitor also seems pretty pointless if i habe other monitors for the purpose.

    Would love to hear from you guys. Maybe netflix and spotify? Thanks!

    Asking price for a 12.9 ipad pro 2018; 256gb wifi+apple pencil+case?

    I'm trying to sell my ipad; picked it up brand new from apple so it still has a warranty. Also have an apple pencil and a brown leather folio case. Still have the original boxes and everything.

    256gb wifi only model, in essentially brand new condition. Not even a fingerprint or scratch on the thing. Basically trying to decide on an asking price that isn't too low, or too high.

    Usb-C connecting to external HDD?

    So I just got a new iPad Pro. 512GB, which is a lot. But I like shooting videos on holiday and Ilsince were planning a month long trip in June, I might end up with more that that 512GB. Is there any way I can connect my iPad to an external HDD or thumb drive to save more video on there?

    Best note taking app with and without pen?

    Working on increasing productivity vs Netflix utilization (lol) on my iPad. Best note taking/note cataloging app with and without the apple pen? My handwriting is not great, so likely will be typing. I'm familiar with one note but am sure there's much better options?

    Paperlike screen users - how do you like 'em?

    I'm thinking of getting a paperlike screen protector, and I'm reading lots of mixed opinions about them.

    Here are my thoughts so far:

    • I use the Apple pencil to take lots of notes in Goodnotes at work. Paper feel would be nice here
    • I draw a lot in Procreate. Paper feel would probably be nice here too
    • I do a fair bit of casual gaming/redditing/facebooking, and I've read that touch feels weird on a paperlike
    • I watch a lot of Netflix and videos housed on my OneDrive. I have no idea what a matte screen would do to this, but I've read of people talking about the loss of crispness in the resolution. Also, the Netflix app is so friggin' DARK that I can see my reflection during any scene where it's night.

    Does anyone here use a paperlike? Is the feel worth the negatives?

    PowerPoint conversion

    Until recently I was using my Surface Pro to download a PowerPoint file, convert it to a pdf handout and then make notes on that using a pdf editor. But I've recently just got an iPad Pro and I'm struggling to export the PowerPoint file as a pdf handout, I've only managed to print as a pdf handout which is obviously not much good. Does anyone know of a way of doing this? I don't mind buying an app that can do this, but I'm not about to spend money only to discover it doesn't do the one thing I want.

    Apps don’t stop with sleep button?

    For some reason, if I use the sleep/wake button, the background music in several of my kids apps keeps playing indefinitely.

    Is there a setting somewhere to prevent apps from running when the screen is off?

    Can Anyone Comment On Using Apple Pencil with Procreate on the Cheaper iPads?

    I'm looking into an ipad having only owned one previous tablet, a Nexus 7 back in the day. The biggest draw would be using the apple pencil for some sketching for work. I'm sure the Ipad Pros have better screen responsiveness but I can't justify the price right now.

    Ipad Pro 10.5 standby battery terrible

    So I got an iPad and I'm upgrading from an Ipad 4 retina. The battery on that retina was starting to wear by if I left it on standby it would last for like two weeks. The new ipad however has very poor standby battery: https://imgur.com/a/Uly5xXP

    I don't really understand why. If i use the ipad as normal I will get like 10 hours screen on time which I think is normal however. I did backup via itunes using the old ipad backup. Could this have caused an issue? I have turned off the usual stuff aswell...

    Trying to edit PS4 footage on my iPad Pro

    Hi there, I was wondering if you kindly folks could help me.

    My goal is to edit footage my PS4 has captured on my iPad Pro, ideally on iMovie, but I am happy to dabble with other editing apps.

    Currently the initial transfer is a little convoluted, with the path being Ps4 -> USB HDD -> Laptop -> iPad via itunes. This in itself seems rather inelegant, but is at least doable. The next step seems more infuriating. The videos sync to the TV app as 'home video' and, as mp4s, will not open in iMovie. I have tried adobe editing apps, but again they will only raid the camera roll for videos to edit, not the TV app/home video directory.

    Any help/advice would be gratefully received,

    Is this a problem?

    I have an Ipad Pro 2018 12.9'' since nearly one month and noticed today a weird , not really loud clicking noise when I push on the bottom left corner near the edge of the screen. I noticed also earlier that at the same area, the ipad produces heat when using Good Notes for a longer time so i suppose that's where the battery is located. Am I only paranoid or could it be an issue?

    Dropped Apple Pencil

    I dropped my Apple Pencil by mistake and although I don't notice any changes in its functionality whatsoever, I noticed the tip is slightly offset (not bent!) from the center of the pencil... by a very small amount, almost unnoticeable. It's only when I run my finger across it it feels a bit offset, but it might be like that from the factory. Should I worry I might have done some unnoticeable damage?
