    Hey jailbreakers!

    Welcome to the banner contest for January! Every other month, r/jailbreak invites members of the community to create and submit banners for a chance to be featured as the official subreddit banner!

    Requirements

    • Submissions must be sent via PM to /u/jailbreakmods.
      Submissions left as a comment in this post, sent via PM to any other mod, or sent to modmail will be ignored.

    • Submission PMs must include the words "Banner Submission" in the title.

    • Image cannot be greater than 500 KB in size.

    • 4 Versions must be submitted:

      • Non-retina displays: 2000x200px
      • Retina displays: 4000x400px
      • Redesign: 1920x192px
      • Mobile devices: 640x194px min, 1280x384px max, 10:3 ratio

    • Banners must be submitted as one Imgur album.

    • The content of the banner must be centered and clearly display the name of the subreddit.

    [News] Fix for working AFC 2 and Ext3nder Installer

    After some research, I found a solution how to fix tweaks like AFC 2 (Apple File Conduit 2) and Ext3nder Installer.

    The problem was Link Identity Editior (ldid), downgrade it to 2.0.0 and install/reinstall AFC 2 and Ext3nder Installer. And it works now 👍

    u/_pwn20wnd and u/sbingner all problem was ldid. Pls fix this.

    Hello! I wanted to make this reddit post to introduce Aora Installer by the Aora Team! A package manager for iOS 10 to iOS 11. Aora features fast tweak installing time and a very simple UI for easy navigation. Aora will also be lightweight to save device space and to make it even faster. Also we have many ideas for future updates (including a new way of adding and managing repos ;P). Aora is still currently in development, but once we finish, we hope you get to enjoy Aora just as much as we enjoyed creating it :)

    Here are some things I want to discuss about Aora :

    The Aora Team is NOT and never will strive to surpass Cydia. Cydia is and will always be the go to package manager to us. Aora Installer will be an alternative for anyone who would like to have a more simpler UI and faster tweak install time. If you would like to see how fast Aora installs tweaks or if you want proof of Aora, you can check out this tweet and or follow the Aora Installer twitter here, where we post when we have news or updates about the progress of Aora.

    We built this package manager for fun and to take on a challenge for ourselves. I had this idea for a while (even before Sileo was announced) and finally wanted to go about this idea which all started Aora and how the Aora Team was born. We really enjoy hard work paying off, and we're constantly making sure Aora has the smallest amount of bugs or none at all. We understand if you are upset about this, but we wanted to try something new for ourselves and give back to the community with something cool.

    The Aora Team might also take on other projects after Aora Installer, so don't think this is the end of us ; )

    [Request] To be able to record a Video with audio taken from the EarPods. This would basically make it so that anyone with earpods can be "mic'd" into a video just by wearing those earpods.

    [Question] iPad Air MD785LL/A on 10.3.1 successfully Jail-Broken with Totally-Not.Spyware.Lol and Meridian. Rebooted and now it won't successfully do either. Also, I'm going to be without WiFi for a period. Can someone give me a rundown on what I should know? I'm about 4 years out of the scene.

    I recently found my old 4S and felt the nostalgia when I turned it on. However, finding old Android's in the same drawer, I was disappointed in the amount of bass pumped out with the stock equalizer settings. I have EQE for both 6'S and it works just fine in iOS 10/11. I am planning to keep my 4S as an iPod and am not willing to update to iOS 9 just to get EQE. I've tried iPEQ For iPhone already but it constantly crashes my music app. Any suggestions on tweaks to get the bass up to par with EQE?

    [Discussion] iPhone 6 with runaway file expansion in general AND system. How to save my phone?

    Posted yesterday about my phone restarting and asking for AppleID password and NOT accepting wifi passwords. Apparently everything is getting screwed up by something filling up all the storage space, both as reported in settings/general and more importantly apparently the system partition which is keeping anything from being added/modified in Cydia.

    I have found a way to ssh in, but have yet to make a dent in the issues. Clock is ticking on this, as eventually I won't have anything left to delete to make space.

    ​

    iTunes won't connect to the phone. I've gotten multiple errors, but mainly "iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. The value is missing." So of course, not only is my jailbreak messed up, I could possibly have a completely bricked device soon.

    ​

    Consistently getting the following errors in Cydia.

    - Write error - write (28: No space left on device)

    - IO Error saving source cache

    -The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

    ​

    ​

    I was able to use home-brew to install some files in OS X terminal to connect over USB. I need to learn commands to delete mobile substrate and its dependencies all at once in hopes of having enough room freed up to install Cydia Eraser. (The command I've used so far is "dpkg - r (tweak)" but it won't work on any with dependencies.

    ​

    I also assume that the runaway file growth is in some sort of cache file somewhere. If we could figure that one out maybe I could clear the whole directory in question?

    [Request] A tweak that can import and download a large amount of tweaks in one go

    Tweaks like Flame can export a list of all of your tweaks, but reinstalling them all (after a restore) can be a pain. Is there a tweak that would take a large list and download/install of them (provided the repos are there)?

    Bonus points if it can even get the same version of each item in the list.

    Just like HomeGesture/Little X, it'd be great if someone could port the new iPad multitasking gestures and animation (the one similar to iPhone X - swipe up to home screen, cc access from top right corner) to iOS 11. Not sure if this is possible since FluidUI is supposedly not included with older iPads?

    [HELP] Yalu Jailbreak on iOS 10.2 Randomly Crashing

    Anyone have an idea why my Yalu jailbreak might be all of a sudden randomly crashing on iOS 10.2? It's never crashed and entered safe mode in the last two years that I've had it. Nothing new is really new on my phone except a couple apps (Sinemia is the only new app I've downloaded today when it started chrashing, but not when I'm using that app). Thanks in advance!
