- [Feature] Apple has updated “Hey Siri” algorithms; I restored my phone to a fresh 12.2 beta and was asked to “update” Siri by asking her to play music, to set a timer for 3 minutes, to check the weather (that’s OG setup), and they removed the final, “hey Siri, it’s me” at the very end.

Posted: 31 Jan 2019 04:40 AM PST Recently having problems with all my gmail accounts (I have 3-4) sporadically over the last 3-4 days and wondering if related to the 12.2 recent beta. Not sure if beta related or gmail issues. Can't seem to find anything saying it's gmail so wanted to post and see if anyone else is having the problem. A side note that I feel is related but can't prove is that I think this also affects Google 2FA. I am a PokemonGo guy and auth with one of my gmail accounts and over the last 2-3 days my app repeatedly requires sign in and I have to repeatedly log in via Google again. It went most of a day failing to log in and I had to remove the PokemonGo app completely and reinstalled and only then was I presented with the 2FA message to approve my login from the Gmail app (usually it's just the Google app) Anyone else seeing this or any ideas? Here's an error message I see in the Mail app on my phone which is an iPhone X on Xfinity Mobile btw [link] [comments] | ||
[BUG] iOS 12.2 Beta Messages Notification Issue Posted: 30 Jan 2019 10:58 PM PST Has anyone else been experiencing an issue, since updating to iOS 12.2 beta, where you don't always get a notification when receiving a text/iMessage? I'll open up my phone, see no badge notification on my Messages app but when I open it up the app there's a new text/iMessage. Sometimes it functions as normal and sometimes it doesn't. This happens when the phone is locked and when unlocked. When this happens I also don't get a notification on my Apple Watch. This has been happening consistently and it's extremely annoying especially when I'm in the middle of a conversation, set my phone down and I'm not notified that the person replied. [Question] Anyone else had an absolute horrible experience with WiFi on iOS 12.2 beta 1? Posted: 30 Jan 2019 06:29 PM PST My 4G has been working perfectly fine. Fast and never really messes up (I've had a few calls fail but works immediately on the 2nd/3rd try) but WiFi has been horrible. Constantly slow loading times, long and continuous buffering whilst watching videos. I'm on the iPhone XS Max. I thought Apple had fixed this with iOS 12.1.3 beta 4 but it's so bad now. Posted: 30 Jan 2019 11:32 PM PST If Apple removes 3D Touch from iOS it will be stuuuuuppiiiiid ;) Just saying! Byeeeeee. P.S. Just figured out that you can use 3D Touch on the MacBook Pro when dragging files. Pretty nice feature. Press once and drag, then press deeper to go into a folder. Neat. Don't be stupid Apple. Finish what you start. [link] [comments] |
