Hi, I have a problem with movies on iTunes in UHD 4k. I have Sony XE7005 TV and Apple TV 4k. When I watch a movie with subtitles very often on dark scenes, there is a sudden loss of image quality as soon as subtitles appear. The same scenes without subtitles looks fine. I found several threads with a similar problem but most are archived without a solution. ( https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8191978 ) The problem disappears when I switch chroma cable from 4:4:4 to 4:2:0 and turn off HDR. Maybe something with a dolby vision that my TV does not support? On the other hand, Netflix works without any problem, for example, when I watch the new Black Mirror season, which shows me that it is in the Dolby Vision quality. I have contacted Apple and Sony technical support. Sony thinks this is an Apple TV issue, and Apple just gave me back the money for the movie in iTunes. This is terribly annoying. Does anyone have a similar problem? Any solution? I will be grateful for any help.

Airplay problem

I am having a problem with my second gen Apple TV, it won't let me airplay my iPod touch to it. I have tried other devices (iPhone 8, 8 plus, iPad Air, iPad, iPod touch 6 iPod touch 5, iPhone 7, 5c, and 6s) but none of them work. The audio will play from the tv speakers but not show up as video. Te only device that It has worked with was my old crappy iPhone 4. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

X Codes wont find Apple TV 4K

Hi guys.

I am having trouble connecting my ATV4K to my Mac.

I have the Apple TV on the "Remote Apps and Devices" screen open.

On my Mac, I goto Xcode and click "Device and Simulators" and I don't see my AppleTV.

Both devices are on the same network, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I am running MacOS Mojave with the latest Xcode on my Mac. My AppleTV is also updated.

Edit: I had to Factory reset my Apple tv and go very close with my MacBook to Apple tv and then it worked
