    Just keeping this in the spotlight. This is gonna be one of those things Apple denies until they have no choice but to offer replacements or refunds.

    Edit: for clarity, I'm saying MY iPhone XS WiFi does not work, I'm not saying yours doesn't.

    Amazed with this XR battery life.

    I have to say the battery life on this phone is just insane. I took it out of the charger at 9 am, it's 10 pm now and the battery is at 49%. According to Screen TimeI've used the phone for 5 hours 24 minutes. Not sure if that includes streaming music while display is off. This is without a doubt the best battery I've ever had on a phone.

    Should I get my iPhone 8 battery replaced before the replacement program ends this december? Currently my health is at 89% and thought it will be a good idea to futureproof the phone. But I'm very concerned that the the phone won't be waterproof anymore after the battery replacement. Please help.

    [Tip] If your having issues charging your device from a Mac, run "sudo killall -STOP -c usbd"

    If your like me, and you've tried lot's of different cables, but it doesn't want to charge from your Mac, then follow this guide:

    1. Open up spotlight (CMD + Space) and search for Terminal
    2. Copy and paste "sudo killall -STOP -c usbd" (without the quotations) and type the root password
    3. Try and charge it again :}

    Hope this helps anybody!

    Edit: Another option which you might need is to go to settings, network, and delete the thunderbolt connection with the minus

    Slow-Motion Video Sharing

    Let's talk about how embarrassing it is how Apple hasn't decided that taking a video in slow motion and sharing it is essentially a giant pain in the ass -

    Even if you share the video with someone using iMessage, Apples proprietary messaging platform, the video will not be transmitted in slow motion as you see on your own phone. Nope - it'll just play full speed through.

    ​

    Want to share it in slow-motion in messaging? Well you had better e-mail it to yourself and THEN it will process to share in the current way you meant it to be viewed.

    ​

    How has this not been rectified in the numerous iterations of iOS that have been put out since slow motion became available on the iPhone. Embarrassing.

    A Galaxy S9+ costs about the same in the US as an iPhone XR but in Europe the XR costs €930 and the S9+ about 750€. Why are iPhones much more expensive here?

    Random two tone chime?

    I cannot figure out why my iPhone keeps dinging, it's more like doots but nevertheless it's two quick notes. Happens seemingly randomly no notifications with the sound in question and this hasn't always been an issue I've had the iPhone 6 awhile now and this is definitely a recent development. Post prolly sounds crazy but I'm not crazy man it's the damn dinging doots pls help it just did it again smgdh

    If my iPhone cord caught on fire while charging my phone, can I safely charge the phone with a different charger?

    So my iPhone cord just caught on fire. I panicked, unplugged everything, and threw the cord outside into the snow. No fire now, but I'm wondering if it's safe to plug in my phone with a different charger after it was being charged and the cord caught on fire? Did the phone get shocked or something? Right now it's functional and everything's working, but if I plug it in, will it catch on fire or get destroyed or something?
