Added music files to my itunes, but they don't show up on my iphone Posted: 22 Dec 2018 06:39 PM PST Hey all, title really says it all. I have both songs that I stream with apple music as well as songs saved to my phone. I added some new music files to my itunes, synced my ipod, and the new music isn't on there. I remember a while ago there was an option to sync all songs from itunes (or something similar to that) from the itunes/iphone syncing page, but now there's only mention of icloud music library. Any advice for getting these songs on my iphone? Thanks! Just wanted to add an update: tried managing my apple music and now every music file that was downloaded to my iphone has been replaced with its apple music streaming counterpart. How can I fix this? I want to be able to use the actual files on my phone and to have access when I don't have service. [link] [comments] |
Has anyone successfully used dual sim capabilities on iPhone XR with AT&T and Verizon? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 05:41 PM PST My buddy wants to use Verizon as his primary provider with a physical sim card for his business phone number and a secondary personal phone number with AT&T. His experience at the two stores is such that the employees don't really know how to get this done. [link] [comments] |
My iPad turns on but doesn’t charge? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 04:40 PM PST My iPad's battery dies and when I try to charge it, it won't charge. But it turned on a few times with like 20% that goes away quickly and doesn't charge when turned on either. What does this mean? [link] [comments] |
Blocking feature isn't working? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 02:52 PM PST Hello, I have an iPhone 8+ and whenever I go to block this person I'm still getting their text messages coming through. On all my devices (macbook, phone, iPad). help [link] [comments] |
Bought an iPhone XS from Xfinity. Is it compatible with both CDMA and GSM networks? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 11:20 AM PST I'd like to unlock my phone and use it with Mint Mobile in the US and other carriers abroad. My understanding is that Xfinity Mobile uses a CDMA network, and I've read conflicting information about whether the iPhone XS can be used with both. My understanding is that if purchased SIM-free, it is compatible with both, but this page lists Model A1920 (GSM) and Model A1920 (CDMA) as different devices. Can anyone confirm whether an XS which has previously been locked to a CDMA carrier can be used with GSM carriers when it is unlocked? I'm still within the return window, so I'd return it and buy a new one from Apple if this is not the case. [link] [comments] |
Got an iPhone 8, how do I figure out which carrier it belongs to? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 08:43 AM PST Ok, so a little backstory. My grandpa ordered me AirPods for Christmas, but when they arrived today... it wasn't AirPods, it was an iPhone 8 with 64GB. Confusing, right? The packaging even said 'In Ear Headphones'. But anyway, I got the phone on, put in my T-Mobile SIM card, and it said that that SIM card wasn't supported. So, how do I figure out which carrier it belongs to so I can get it unlocked? Some emails are appearing on the Outlook website and on my iPad but not on my iPhone. Posted: 22 Dec 2018 04:48 AM PST As the titles says, several of the emails I've received are not showing up in the Apple iPhone mail app. They do appear when I log into my email on a browser and on my iPad. Outlook account for a university email. [link] [comments] |

Spotlight search takes forever Posted: 22 Dec 2018 12:50 AM PST Can't exactly remember when this started but Spotlight takes a very long time to return results, especially apps. We're talking over 60 seconds for sure. Rebooting doesn't help. Really don't want to wipe it and restore. This is an iPhone 7+ with iOS 12.1.1. Thank you in advance for any help. [link] [comments] |
