    [Discussion] Anyone interested in a Spotify tweak that enforces the fade between skipped songs?

    Pretty much the title, but I've realized I dislike how sudden the skip is in Spotify and I would love to integrate the fade you can set in the app's settings into the transition between skipped songs. If there's enough interest — and if there isn't already a tweak that allows one to do this — I'll look into making it happen.

    Hello folks.

    I know that iOS / macOS hacking may not be for everyone in here, but for those who are interested in learning how Jailbreaks work, why do we escape the sandbox and how the sandbox works in the first place, I have written a whitepaper on the inner workings of the App Sandbox. The write-up is a good starting point if you wanna mess with the sandbox on *OS, so I decided to post it here as well, for the development-oriented users.

    Not sure if myself or someone else made a release post for my tweak Xanify but nevertheless here it is

    Xanify

    This tweak gives users the ability to -

    1.0b-1

    (Initial Release)

    • Disable Genius/BehindTheLyrics
    • Hide the Device Picker
    • Stop the song duration labels from fading away
    • Hide The Status Bar
    • Spoof the following count
    • Spoof the followers count

    (Moved the tweak preferences (except for the following/follower count spoofing into the settings inside of Spotify))

    I'd like to add encrypted.google.com as my default search engine (mainly to bypass google amp links), and haven't been able to find a working method. Just really not into DuckDuckGo. iOS 11.2.6

    [Question]] Unc0ver gets to 50/50, then resprings for 5-10 minutes, then reboots back to unjailbroken

    Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried jailbreaking with tweaks off and got Cydia working, but when I rejailbroke it would encounter the same respring/reboot loop. The reboot also takes about 5 minutes, so it's a 10 minute process each time unc0ver gets to 50/50.

    I searched this sub and I haven't found anyone else with this problem, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    [Help] Can’t jailbreak after switching back to electra from uncover

    Just recently left uncover because the update to substrate made the jailbrake unstable and would crash my phone after literally 5 minuets of use while jailbroken; moreover, even after reinstalling substitute in place the jailbrake would only last about a good 10-20 minuets before rebooting randomly.

    After restoring using the "recover" option I tried to install v1.1 of electra. So far I've tried more than 45 times to enable the jailbrake and only got cydia to install before my phone crashed and restarted.

    I have done all the necessary (at least what used to work with the older versions) steps to make sure the jailbrake at least got to 2/3 but I can't get beyond 1/3 and crash.

    I was able to ignore the Cydia update but Sileo insists on being installed. Kind of lame to force that thing on folks. Give us the option to ignore it.

    [Question] iOS 9 on iPhone SE un-activation occured from safe mode and executed renamed setup.app - how?

    My iPhone SE on iOS 9.3 just got into the activation screen, I was alarmed because I'd renamed Setup.app to Setup_move.app. I went through it and it activated and closed but then re-opened the activation wizard, I could see the 'exit safe mode' option at the top of the screen so there was some issue with being in safe mode. Could ssh into it fine. Went in and killed the setup, it just restarted again so I moved it up a directory and killed it, it got stuck on the apple logo. Killed dash nine springboard and the phone is back to a working jailbreak without the setup wizard, phone functionality is fine.

    So what happened? How did the setup app execute when it was in a completely different folder? Here's the output from ps when it was running:

    I am debating whether I should update it to ios 12.1.2 ? Would this be a good idea given the current jailbreaking climate? I'm tired of my phone being very slow on the apps I frequent because of its version, but I also don't want to lose my jailbreak.. Any advice appreciated. :)

    1. Is there a tweak that I manually press when it's starting to freeze without Activator?
    2. Is there a working tweak that allows backgrounding apps? (I'm on unc0ver)
    3. Best tweak for WhatsApp to make it night mode?
    4. Working Facebook/Instagram/Twitter tweaks that allows me to download videos and stuff? (Its not considered piracy since official repos host them and allowed to speak about it)
    5. Is there a alarm tweak that will stop the alarm if you type what it says on the screen (similar to the math one) like words or a small sentence. Can't turn it off or decrease volume.
    6. Best "managing" tweaks? Like CocoaTop, Filza, etc.
