| 12.1.2 iPhone 6+ screen failure Posted: 27 Dec 2018 10:03 PM PST So i bought a refurbished iPhone 6+ 2 months ago from an online retailer. The phone worked fine and i never had an issue with it until i updated to 12.1.2 on the release of it. On completion of the update the display stopped working except for the backlight which still illuminates. The phone still vibrates, plays notifications and responds in Itunes. Any help? as i am unsure if it is in correlation with the update or just bad timing (no drops/water damage/cracks) [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 27 Dec 2018 08:00 PM PST I have several email accounts set up (google and IMAP) and none of them are "pushing" unless on wifi and recharging. In settings > Passwords & Accounts > Fetch New Data: "Push" is turned on, all the accounts are set to "Fetch" and Fetch is set to "Automatically". I turned all of these settings off, soft-reset, turned back on, soft-reset and it still did not resolve the problem. Any other ideas? [link] [comments]  |
| What can I do with my out dated Iphone 4? Posted: 27 Dec 2018 11:10 AM PST I cannot load new apps on to my Iphone 4 because the IOS wont update. Wondering If you knew ways I could get Versions of Old Iphone apps, or anything else I could try. I have some programming experience, so I wouldn't mind doing hacking stuff. | Need some help with an iPhone 6 problem (lagging) Posted: 27 Dec 2018 08:45 AM PST Friend bought me a refurbished 6 and it wont stop freezing/lagging. The screen will just stop registering inputs or if im typing it'll stay pressed on letters or backspace. It has periods where it is totally fine and some apps/games seem to not suffer this problem at all. I've been googling since xmas the problem and Im reading that this is how the iphone 6 is now with the current OS.. is this true or do I have a faulty battery? ftr it was on 11.x.x but I updated to 12.1.2 as one of the many many things I've done to try and solve this issue both iOS suffered the same lag. Im pulling my hair out here I cant accept that this is just how older apple phones are now there has to be a reason, can someone help or point me in a direction please. (I'll be returning the phone tomorrow morning for a replacement but I want to try and solve the issue before having to go through all that) [link] [comments]  |
| How to delete a folder of photos that I downloaded from my computer? Posted: 27 Dec 2018 10:42 AM PST Okay so I had backed up my photos and everything to itunes in order to transfer from my iPhone 6 to my IPhone 8 and as I went through my photos, I realized I had like, 5,000 more than I had on the other one and it was taking up a lot of space. I looked in photos and I see a folder thingie with dates on it that say a date range and then the message under it about how it was taken from my computer. I looked under camera roll and I realized all my older photos have been duplicated, now I have two copies of my very old photos. I looked in the folder and when I select the photos, there is no option to delete them, just a box with an arrow in it pointing straight up, and an "Add To" button. How I delete all of these copies? | poor reception after flex change / iphone 5c Posted: 27 Dec 2018 08:41 AM PST hi, i have been recently changing battery and i screwed my homebutton contacts and microphone - anyways i decided to fix this, so i bought new flex cabel, changed everything following ifixit steps, but after change i have very low or no signal :( i tried several times to disconnect and reconnect antena and connection to motherboard - even tried to reattach the flex cable again... but i was not successful... has anyone ever had similar problem? also: prior my damadge i had problems with jack as it only played right side - even though there is new flex installed, jack still has this problem (though it is slightly better, but nowhere balanced around centre) [link] [comments]  |

Is there any feature for iPhone messaging to simply "send to group"? | Need help with pictures that won’t delete. Posted: 27 Dec 2018 05:09 AM PST Hello everybody, I have an issue regarding photos that won't go away no matter how I try to delete them. The preface this, I love taking photos, so much so that I had over 17000 pictures on my phone. I decided it was time to import all of them to Photos on my laptop. I noticed that when I click on the Album on my phone, there is nothing there, and I have no more pictures. The reason I'm concerned is that when I press the "photos" tab in the app, all of my pictures are still there, as black images. No matter how many times to delete them. If I try to click on one to enlarge it, I just pops up as a blank image. I don't use the cloud, and I don't have any albums being synced from my laptop, so I'm having trouble figuring out how get rid of all of them. [link] [comments]  |
