    4GB used, 1.2GB available

    Long time lurker, first time poster. My 5C has always had crappy memory (at least compared to my peers) and I'm sick of it. I haven't been able to update past iOS8, so have just spent hours clearing used memory to download 10.3.3.

    Is there anything I can do? Is it worth it to update for 0 storage left?

    I noticed that after update to 12.1.2 night shifts became buggy. It's flickering on/off every evening/morning. Am i the only one who has such problem?

    [HELP] For the life of me I can't figure out how to get a full screen picture of a person on caller ID.

    My wife has an iPhone 7+ and she gets full screen pictures of her contacts on calls. I got it to work only once by accident but it changed back to being smol circles next to the name.

    I have tried all the guides which suggested the following

    1. Edit the picture but only move it a bit and save it again to make it full screen
    2. Move contact savings option to iCloud
    3. turn off mobile network access to Contacts
    4. Use photos taken by your phone
    5. blah blah blah

    If anybody knows how to get it to work for real please help me out.

    Edit: forgot to mention that I am using iPhone X on iOS12.1.2

    iPhone X ios swap

    Basically, I've got two iPhone X's, one is 12.1 and the other is 12.1.1. I want to move my data from the 12.1.1 to the 12.1 (which is kind of a downgrade) and even though it's been said to be impossible, this video shows him editing the build version with xcoder (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhfvHMPw5j8) and then transferring it over. Would this be possible or should I give up?

    Automatic network selection

    So how does automatic network selection work? In Europe it always seems to connect to the network I'm allowed to use for free. How does it know them? Also: will it connect to those really expensive on board networks on ships?

    Reveal Mail password in settings?

    I am trying to figure out my exchange account email password. I have it typed into all my IOS devices, but I am not seeing it saved in my keychain. I can see how many characters are in the password.... is there anyway to reveal the dots? I think in the past my devices have automatically synced the email and didn't even require me retyping all the info in. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Free VPN app that doesn’t consume your data plan?

    First of all sorry if this the wrong place to ask. If it is, feel free to remove it.

    So reddit is blocked in my country, so the only way to access it is to use VPN. I've been using Onavo Protect VPN for a few months, but it used a lot of my data plan, most recently it use 1 GB in under 5 minutes while I browsing reddit (all texts, no image or video).

    Any replacement suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

    iOS 12.1 emulator for my sister!

    Hey everyone.

    So my sister loves Pokemon on her switch and wanted more pokemon games but none are on the switch.

    I have an Android phone so I thought it would be easy to get an emulator for her but alas she has an iPhone on iOS 12.1. I spent the whole day looking for how to install an emulator, GBA4ios 2.1 is what I found but I cannot find the profile and device managmnet option. I do believe they have removed the ability to trust apps.

    Does anyone have a way to install apps to iOS 12.1? Thank you so much!

    Can you use the keyboard to switch to the other open app in split view

    Like if you have 2 apps that have text input open side by side. Cursor is in the left app, now I want to jump into the right app and back with only the keyboard. Is that possible?

    It's also a little cryptic to figure out which app actually has the text input right now

    Keep session alive - Safari

    just got a new ipad and want to migrate completely to it, the only snag ive hit is with a particular website i use where it logs me off after 30 minutes. If i keep safari open it should poll the site every 10 minutes to maintain my session. Does anyone know of any tools/extensions i can use to keep a session alive even if i put the ipad in sleep etc

    iPad not syncing with iPhone backup

    So my wife got a iPad 6th gen for Christmas and wants to sync everything with her iPhone 8+ and we are having issues . We updated the iPad to 12.1.1 and tried to restore from iCloud backup but it didn't work. My father in law WiFi was being spotty so I thought it was that. Wife had old phone 6S and current phone iCloud backups so it was confusing for the iPad. I deleted the old backup and did a new one on iMac (2017) and apparently 12.1.2 on iPhone wasn't new enough so updated to 12.1.2 iTunes edition . iPad 12.1.1 wasn't new enough so it updated to iTunes edition and started to restore but iPad isn't compatible with iPhone 12.1.2 backup. So I don't know what to do. We had it up and running just by logging into her iCloud but it wasn't fully synced up . I don't know what to do. Any suggestions or help

    Iphone Diagnostic

    My iphone 7 plus has a problem with its speaker and mic neither can i speak to people or listen to them, anyways its not the issue, my iphone suddenly shut off, while i try to open it again it opens up in diagnostic mode and after i put on the wifi it just tells me to contact support and when i hit exit diagnostic it reboots back to it again.. if anyone could help please do so <3
