    They finally decided to release a first beta of the Apple Watch app and it looks good! They heard our voices and even tho it's only on 38/42 mm ratio it looks pretty good!

    Life temporarily without an Apple Watch

    Watch bricked when I updated it overnight on Tuesday. Since then I've brought my old mechanical Tag Heuer chronometer out of retirement. Some learned habits are proving hard to break!

    • The slightly exaggerated wrist flick when checking the time
    • I use Apple Pay on my watch a lot and keep trying to double press the non-existent side button when approaching the barriers on the Underground
    • On the Apple Watch when at work I have a complication showing my next meeting. I keep glancing at my watch to see what I've got coming up

    On the plus side, it's really nice to have a watch that doesn't leave my wrist. Shower with it in the mornings, sleep with it at night. No need to think about charging it briefly before bed and again in the morning. Win some lose some. I also appreciate the weight of my Tag... eventually I'll switch to a SS AW but I'm waiting until the incremental annual updates are as marginal as the iPhone X to XS (and that possibly isn't more than a couple of years away).

    One thing I haven't missed in any way - Siri. In fact life is probably better without her on my wrist.

    Best Third Party Sport Loop Brand?

    I've ordered from a couple brands on Amazon. The most notable issue is that the lugs are loose-fitting. In one instance, the Velcro was too thick for the loop. Just curious if there is a popular go-to brand (other than Apple's overpriced version.) Thanks.

    Deleting Podcasts

    What are the steps to delete podcasts from the Apple Watch? It downloaded about 50 episodes from various shows and I'd like to remove them.

    I've tried changing options and allowing time to update while on the charger, but no luck.

    My question is if I should buy the Nike Version or the normal Version. First I have to say that I rarely go jogging (to be honest never). The reason why I want the Nike+ Version is the bracelet. On apple.com the prices are the same and I read the Nike + has some more watch faces. Do you think it's stupid to buy the Nike+ although I don't will use the sports functions? On apple.com you can buy the Nike bracelet separate for your normal watch Version, but therefore I have to pay about 50$ extra.

    Complications can't be added to Infograph watch face?

    I just got my new Series 4 Nike Watch and I was really excited about the new Infograph watch faces. However, there are several apps that can't be added as complications on those two faces. Most of them are apps that come on the watch automatically - Messages, Phone, Maps, News, etc. All of these apps work fine when I open them from the screen with all the apps, but they just can't be added as complications to this watch face. Apple seems stumped (90 minutes of chat and 30 minutes of phone call) and they want me to send it in for a mail in repair. Anyone else having issues like this? (Still running 5.0.1, 5.1 not available yet.)

    Apple Watch S4 SS Space Black Dresden (DE)

    I come from Czech republic and would love to buy the AW S4 SS Space black which are not available in our country. I do not know however, whether they are in stock in Dresden's Apple Store. Anyone living nearby who has the idea whether they are available?

    I'm getting really fucking fed up with my Apple Watch (series 4). I keep downloading apps that say they have complications (e.g. Minimalist, Nano, Pillow) and then these apps are not available to select for portions of the Modular Infographic face. Is there a list of apps with functioning complications with that face? I've searched and found posts that list like 2 apps. Is it seriously that limited? Like what the actual fuck

    S4 Restarted Itself While I Was Sleeping

    I was woken up by the haptic on my wrist to see that my S4 (running 5.0.1) was on the Apple logo. After a minute or so it came back on and seems to be working fine now.

    Any ideas what happened? I haven't had any glitches with this watch yet. Thanks!
