    Call me crazy, but the S4 is supposed to be faster than the S0, right?

    Upgraded yesterday and obviously boot time and overall speed has improved, but WTF is with Siri? I'll ask her to turn on a light and so far the only response I've received is the title, "I'll tap you when I'm ready," but she never does.

    My S0 would eventually adjust the lights, whereas my S4 isn't doing jack shit.

    Am I missing something? I feel like I should return my S4 and go back to my S0... which shouldn't be the case.

    Hi everyone,

    Next semester (starting from February) I have an internship at a big local firm.

    With the holiday season coming up I was wondering if someone could link me an affordable AW band that matches a (darkish blue) suit.

    Hope the formatting is alright since I'm on mobile.

    Sorry if the format of this post is downvote quality. Everything is coming from my iPhone. Pictures were taken from my XS Max. If my watch looks "bulky" it's because I was trying to take it at a decent angle to show the watch and band. And that's a custom photo watch face. Nike+ Apple Watches do not come in Gold Aluminum.

    Target has the 42 mm series 3 for $229 and I was wondering if the series 4 is good enough that I should not buy this and wait until I can buy a series 4?

    Imagine if you will a hairy male wrist sporting a series 4 watch with a product red band. The angle of the wrist emphasizes a strong form and confident manner. The background is slightly blurred but clear enough to reveal a familiar coffee house setting and the shape of an over priced holiday coffee cup further emphasizing a callous disregard for frugal spending habits. The entire image is reflective of the season and screams look at me I'm an ass hat.

    I wanted to post a photo but opted for a more creative form of expression.

    Hi everyone!

    Bit of a situation here. Have a family member coming over from France for the holidays, and I wanted to buy him a series 4 model a2008 after learning that is what will allow for cellular use there (but not in the US). It appears that apple doesn't sell these in store. Is there absolutely anything I could do to get one here stateside? Trying to get it before Christmas. Unfortunately the international store doesn't appear to ship internationally. thanks and happy thanksgiving!

    Shrtcut to toggle Theater Mode on Alarm or wake?

    Hi,

    Shot-in-the-dark, very specific/niche question:

    I was wondering if anyone has been able to build a shortcut in the Shortcuts app to turn off do not disturb or theater mode when either your morning alarm goes off on the Watch or when a sleep tracker app detects that you're awake.

    I know shortcuts work on the watch because I've asked Siri to run some of them from the watch and it does it well, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to build a shortcut for this (side rant: why did they make that app so hard to use? 🙄)

    Also, in obviously assuming this is for those of us who sleep with the AW on.

    AW3 GPS accuracy - with phone connected vs without

    I almost always run with my phone and have learned from this my usual running pace. I recently updated my iPhone 8 Plus to iOS 12 and my AW3 GPS to Watch OS 5 but immediately after this I noticed that my pace is showing on average 1 minute per km slower than what it was before. When I run without my phone, relying on the AW GPS only, my pace is as expected.

    I have reset my location settings on the phone and have unpaired and re-paired the watch but the same issue remains. Before I updated my devices both would give the same pace whether I ran with or without the phone.

    Any ideas? Which reading is likely to be more trustworthy here?

    Edit to provide more info: this is outdoor running and I've had the Watch for almost one year.

    These complications are on my S4, but can’t get any of them to appear on my watch face, like I could on my S3. They won’t appear in any spots. Is it something to do with the infograph watch face, or what?

    I just happened to look and see there is no IEMI # on the watch app on my iPhone X. It is present on the settings on the actual watch. Anyone else have this issue and should I be concerned? Thanks!

    Message Notifications not Mirroring iPhone

    So it's the holiday season and for my family, that means several enormous group chats that I have to immediately mute notifications from otherwise, my watch will be tapping me nonstop. This used to work flawlessly but in the past week or so, it seems like the Mirror iPhone setting has started acting buggy and letting notifications through. They won't show up on the lock screen of my phone but I'm getting taps on my watch for every single one.

    Has anyone else had this happen?

    Apple Watch Series 3 is on sale for $200 on Amazon. Should I snag this? I really hate getting something a year behind in technology, and I've heard the Series 4 is a significant improvement.

    Never had an Apple Watch, but am very interested in one.

    Will Apple Exchange My Band?

    I recently got the Series 4 at launch, as I had the Series 0 before I've now got two of the same sport loop bands. I didn't open the new loop, it's still in its packaging, would Apple let me exchange it for a nylon loop or even just a different colour?. I no longer have my receipt and it's well past the 14 days, has anyone had success with this or something similar?

    Repair failure

    So lately as reported by many sites the watch os 5.1 initial update seemed to brick many devices, including my own. The screen got stuck on the apple logo and stayed like that for days, so I decided to send it in for repair. I've checked my repair status and it says that they "couldn't duplicate issue" and it was sent back to me, does this mean they haven't repaired it? Anyone else in the same situation?

    New Nike Celestial Teal and Olive Flak: sport bands and sport loops on 44mm Space Gray S4

    I'm sure that the watch picture haters would kill me if I made 4 separate posts, so I'll put all the bands into this 1 post. You're welcome, everyone.

    Sport loops: Both of these new Nike sport loops are reflective like the new black and white ones. They're also about 2mm shorter than the original 2017 sport loops (see link at very bottom).

    Celestial Teal sport loop: On the Nike app, it looked more like a blue/gray color, but in person it's a very light sky blue color. There really isn't much of a gray tone to this one at all. My only other blue sport loops to compare it to are midnight fog and storm gray.

    Olive Flak sport loop: This one looks kind of like a golden/dark green/olive green/brown mix of colors. The picture on the Nike app doesn't show the golden/yellow tones. I put it next to my cargo khaki sport loop for comparison.

    Sport bands: Both of the sport bands have black pins which is a nice match with my space gray watch.

    Celestial Teal sport band: The color is a mix of blue and gray, but it's much lighter blue than on the Nike app. My only blue sport band to compare it to was obsidian/black (aka midnight blue).

    Olive Flak sport band: There is a lot more of a green olive/yellow/Dijon mustard color than the photo on the Nike app. The Nike app makes it look brown, but it isn't. One of my pictures makes it look almost green, but that's not how it really looks. I compared it to my cargo khaki band in the later pictures.

    Sport loop lengths comparison: The 3 longer loops are the 2017 loops. All the shorter ones are from spring 2018 and fall 2018 and 2mm shorter.
