Posted: 01 Nov 2018 07:52 AM PDT Kind of neat that when using an eSIM line it shows the signal strength of both lines in status bar. https://i.imgur.com/zq4QSjs.jpg [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Nov 2018 03:47 AM PDT So I've been having these random shutdowns . Finally I put my new IPhone X into dfu and wiped everything clean and installed 12.1 . For almost two days no reboots . And today overnight the phone did a reboot . In analytics I can see a reset counter and a panic base for the exact same time . I use my phone a lot , leave at least 10 background apps open , I charge it on my wireless charging pad overnight and I am on a whatsap call overnight as well, so I do sleep while the phone is still running. Can this cause a reboot ?? Just want to know if this is a hard ware or software issue .. or is it just excessive usage . Also , I have to say that the phone works maginificently well pre and post reboot . And the battery is at 100% [link] [comments]

Question about double counting workouts in HealthKit Posted: 01 Nov 2018 08:36 AM PDT Not sure if this is the right subreddit. I have a Bowflex Maxtrainer. When I use it I also start an elliptical workout in my watch. After the workout ends, I also sync the Bowflex to my app. HealthKit now shows two workouts, one from the watch, one from the Bowflex app. How do I prevent the activity app from double counting my workouts? Bug or feature: iPhone not switching off with open share sheet Posted: 31 Oct 2018 10:45 PM PDT Just saw that with an open share sheet, the iPhone will never turn off, even after hours. I'm neither sure it's is a new behavior nor if it has a reason. But for sure it drains some battery and your phone stays unlocked the whole time. [link] [comments]

Group FaceTime call not available on my 6s Posted: 31 Oct 2018 10:20 PM PDT Upgraded my 6s to iOS 12.1 yesterday, by that time I saw "+" button in FaceTime UI, guess I had group FaceTime back then. Today I found the button gone, nor can I add another person when I am already in a 1 to 1 facetime call. In a iMessage group, I also found that the FaceTime button at the top are greyed out. Quite weird. Anyone has the same issue or get any idea how I can fix that? Tried turning off and on FaceTime in settings but didn't work. [link] [comments]

iMessages sent not delivered, text messages delivered not received Posted: 31 Oct 2018 06:22 PM PDT This only happens with only one contact in my phone. I have been using imessage to text when suddenly one day the imessages are not being delivered and are sent as green regular text messages instead I was able to receive two messages from them the following two days and when I immediately replied it did not send as an iMessage I tried calling and it immediately goes to voicemail with no rings, trying facetime audio says they are not available for facetime after ringing several times. They finally replied and mentioned to me that they didn't receive any of my messages sent as regular texts today after I texted them with another number. I also asked if they accidentally blocked me and they confirmed that they have not accidentally blocked me but somehow was not receiving any messages. Any ideas on why this is the case?
