Automatically turn on Dark Mode on macOS Posted: 27 Sep 2018 03:13 PM PDT There's a way to change from light mode to dark mode on macOS 10.14, just like the dinamic wallpaper? [link] [comments]
No sound notifications on new Amphetamine update. Posted: 28 Sep 2018 03:01 AM PDT After updating to the new version of amphetamine, the sound notification has stopped working. I tried messing with the preferences but I'm unable to solve this issue. Anyone know what is wrong? I'm still on High Sierra. [link] [comments]
Safari hangs for 2-3 seconds every time I open it up in macOS Mojave Posted: 28 Sep 2018 01:38 AM PDT I'm using only dashlane's extension. Safari hands for 2-3 seconds every time I open it up in macOS Mojave. Problem disappears if I uninstall the extension. Is there any fix for this? [link] [comments]
Is there a way to choose what you want dark? Posted: 28 Sep 2018 01:33 AM PDT I like apps having dark mode, but I personally think the dock looks better in light mode. Is there a way to choose what I want to be dark/light? [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Sep 2018 08:56 PM PDT I tried installing macOS 10.14 on my MacBook Pro 2015 13-inch and got stuck right away:
Um, what? I double-checked the App Store and there aren't any outstanding updates. I ran First Aid on my drive and everything checked out. I then rebooted and tried doing a macOS remote install direct from Apple and I ended up with the same error. Digging in to the installer log, i see this:
Well, yes, because it currently is APFS since I'm coming from 10.13.6. Is there something I'm missing? UPDATE/FIX: Re-installing 10.13.6 using the combo updater fixed it. Thanks to /u/bacongalaxy! [link] [comments]
Handoff between iOS12 and Mojave not working? Posted: 27 Sep 2018 05:37 PM PDT
To anyone reading this. I think I fix it. I saw this in another reddit post (ill leave the link below) I just sign out of iCloud on my iPhone and then sign in again. And that's it. It works. I also turn off and on both Bluetooths so idont know which did it. But now everything is normal again. https://www.reddit.com/r/applehelp/comments/9ipxas/handoff_suddenly_stopped_working_ios_12_mac_os/ [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Sep 2018 04:50 PM PDT So Mojave is out and now we're seeing the wave of observations and questions from users as more people install the new macOS iteration. I updated to iOS 12 with confidence as I knew it was a very stable refinement of iOS 11. With Mojave I'm holding off probably until Apple issues the first patch of fixes, since I depend on my MBP for daily work. Naturally, there are reports here and elsewhere of bugs and teething problems. Does the list of issues so far seem about right for a new OS, or is it higher than usual? [link] [comments]
Remove FaceTime audio ducking? Posted: 27 Sep 2018 08:23 PM PDT Does anybody know of a way to prevent FaceTime from lowering the volume of all other sounds while on a call? It seems like this has been a problem for ages and I can't find a way to get around it. [link] [comments]

Mojave: iTunes and the media keys are at it again Posted: 28 Sep 2018 02:20 AM PDT Installing macOS mojave for the first time and setting up my iTunes, I was pretty pleased to find out that the media keys feature/bug that was present in High Sierra was gone, my media keys were working the were they were supposed to, but then I noticed something weird in the notification centre, the iTunes widget that usually shows the songs playing was no longer there, going to "Edit" at the bottom to add it revealed that it wasn't there at all. Only "now playing" was there. Okay, I thought if this "now playing" widget works fine then I have no problems...that was until a video played in Safari while iTunes music was playing and trying to pause iTunes paused the video!!! I swiped to the notification centre to see if I could pause iTunes from there and discovered the "now playing" now reflected the controls for the video that was playing in Safari. Unable to switch from beta to stable release. What are my options? Posted: 27 Sep 2018 10:07 PM PDT I'm using Mojave's public beta. Since the stable release is out, I was thinking to give it a go. In order to get that installed on my Air, I removed the beta release profile and then tried installing Mojave through App Store. But for some reason, it didn't work. What are my options? Update: Able to install the stable release on my second try. Thanks for showing concern guys, appreciate that. Thank you. [link] [comments]
