- Something that’s just occurred to me ... regarding the iPhone X notch, firstly as an owner of the X the notch has never really bothered me, anyways, I’m sitting on a train next to someone with a 6S Plus and OMG ... that expanse of black top n bottom would drive me nuts!!!
- Does anyones screen automatically dim a lot when the phone is getting hot?

Posted: 06 Sep 2018 11:50 AM PDT I put my phone on the dash while driving so the phone usually gets pretty hot, i aim my A/C vent towards the bottom of it to cool it down a bit but the top part still gets hot. I'm not sure if this is even the cause though. The screen will dim almost from 100 to 50 automatically and then once it cools down it'll go back to a normal brightness. Is this normal? | Lock screen opens straight to Apple Pay sometimes Posted: 06 Sep 2018 06:36 AM PDT I don't use raise to wake or tap to wake and everywhere I see this issue mentioned people just say to use those and forget about anything else helpful, and that doesn't fix the issue. Anyway, pressing the button once, the screen will sometimes not turn on. Pressing it a second time will cause the screen to come on and immediately show Apple Pay as if I double pressed the power button. This occurs even if I wait up to five seconds after initially pressing the power button. Has anybody else had this and have they found a solution that isn't "Don't use the power button to turn it on"? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 05 Sep 2018 11:52 PM PDT A story I never wanted to tell: I was at the gym doing my usual workout and was using an old android phone for a workout log app. My iPhone X was just occasionally being touched to switch songs. Anyways, I came home wanted to take the case off to switch to another case and I saw a big crack across the back glass reaching from the top and all the way down to the bottom. No clue how this happened because I didn't drop it. Saw several posts about this. Has anyone had good outcomes from a warranty replacement? #ripiphone [link] [comments]  | ||
