Apple's support staff helped me with that. They said - "We just had to wake up the mic". I haven't had the chance to send a voice message or record a voice memo after the software update. But, I noticed it today on my iPhone 6S. I can make calls and the receiver can hear me out - but when I try to record a voice message or a memo, it just comes out blank. iMessage Streamlining problem? Posted: 27 Sep 2018 02:50 AM PDT I hope that this hasn't been asked/answered yet. I did a search on the sub and could not find anything. Basically, the streamlining or whatever they called it in the iOS 12 update is not working for my phone (iPhone 7). Both my mum and my dad have multiple emails and numbers attached to their Apple ID, and none of the messages are grouped despite having done the update. iOS 11 how to switch off wifi (not disconnect) from lock screen quick access? Posted: 27 Sep 2018 05:07 AM PDT In iOS 10 on an iPhone the quick access of the controls like wifi, airplane mode etc which appear when I slide from bottom edge of the lock screen upwards switched wifi off entirely. Since iOS 11 this just disconnects wifi. If one wants to switch it off this needs to be done via submenus in the settings page. Running wifi drains battery. Is there a way (non-jailbreak) to get the quick access turn off wifi entirely? [BUG?] Alarm not snoozing Posted: 27 Sep 2018 01:06 AM PDT Hello fellow redditors! I Hope this subreddit is okay for my question. first, some info: iPhone 8+, latest iOS12 I have 2 alarms, 6:58am and 7:23am. Both should snooze after 9 mins. So when the alarm goes off i snooze via the vol+/- buttons. Two days in a row the snooze didn't went off. So i woke up at 8:15am, took my phone, pressed the on-button just to see that the snooze-timer just then started. So snooze for both alarms was just then counting down from 9mins. Today it was a bit different. Snooze again wont work, but the snooze-timer showed me -4mins, so it should've went 4 mins ago. ​ I only have 2 alarms but 4 snooze-timers, with two being -4 minutes and two being exatcly 5:11mins. iPad keeps restarting itself Posted: 26 Sep 2018 08:49 PM PDT Ever since I updated to iOS 12 when I try to play games on my iPad it restarts itself multiple times (it's not just any certain game, all my games seem to do it, even if they have been updated). Not sure if it's my iPad (I sure hope not!) or iOS 12 causing it. Is there any way to hopefully fix this (preferably without rooting or resetting the iPad). I had another iPad before this one I had to reset it quite a bit (hacker issues), out of the blue it just died never to work again so I had to replace it. Not sure if the constant having to reset it caused it or something else so I'm trying to dodge resetting my new one at all cost (well as much as I can) to be safe. ​ Anyone else have this issue? Any easy way to fix it (without rooting/jailbreaking or resetting if all possible).
