- This is so annoying. If you set your language to Japanese, Facebook post which was written in another language will have this weird spacing layout.

I created some new custom ringtones, but even they don't show up in iTunes, after I imported the .m4r files into my iTunes library. | Need help with lost vacation photos Posted: 11 Aug 2018 11:56 PM PDT Hi /iOS, I am trying to figure out what happened with about 4 days worth of photos from my iPhone. I took about 200 pics with my iPhone from the 1st through the 4th of the month. iCloud Photo backup was always on and Cellular Data was enabled under Photos (Unlimited Updates was OFF); during the day I was roaming (TMobile, data was working) and during night on hotel wifi. I had to wipe my device and recover from the iCloud backup on the 5th. Afterwards I realized that all photos which I took after leaving the US were gone. All apps and app data recovered successfully but not the photos. When I sign in to iCloud I only see photos prior to leaving the U/ and my current photos, but the 4 days in between are gone. Any ideas what to do? It looks as if the iCloud Photo backup wasn't working at all during those 4 days! Thanks for your suggestions. [link] [comments]  | ||

| What exactly does tapping the green call button in the phone app do when no number is present Posted: 11 Aug 2018 10:35 AM PDT When you open the phone app and hit the green call button without ever typing any numbers, my understanding g was that it will automatically prepolulate the field with the last number you called. But when I just tried it, it prepopulated it with a phone number that was 4th in my recent call history, not the most recent. None of them were in my contacts so I don't think that's it. Posted: 11 Aug 2018 04:30 PM PDT Tonight when I picked up my iPad, I swiped from the left to see my widgets... ...and I saw the "News" widget showing up with some news (which I couldn't care less). But my biggest problem is that I never added the News widget to my screen. How could a widget just appear without my permission? Edit: It seems that News is not even available in my country yet. | Wondering about converting tablets / dual booting Posted: 11 Aug 2018 05:31 PM PDT Hello everyone, I was planning on buying and converting a HP Compaq TC4400 with a 1GHz processor and 4GB of RAM into a dual-booting iOS 11/Win 10 machine. While Windows 10 has been proven to work and is relatively easy to obtain, what about iOS? It's surely within the minimum system requirements, but is it possible to obtain a copy of iOS, free or otherwise, for use as an ISO or an IMG or something? And is it worth my time?
