- TIL - Deleting all history on safari does not remove all website data. Safari still retains a lot of information (presumably cookies). Instead go to General - Safari- Advanced - Website Data - Remove all website data to properly clear your history.

| iPhone X keeps disconnecting from iPhone Lightning Dock (Metallic one) Posted: 24 Jul 2018 06:46 AM PDT My iPhone does this thing since always, other iPhone don't. The dock is connected all the time to a MacBook Pro, I place my iPhone there since I left my desk. Sometimes the screen lights up (Like when you disconnect the charger) and then it reconnects itself, showing me the screen in the lock screen with the big battery on the right "ear" of the screen. If I use a wireless charger it won't disconnect, even if I use a cable it won't disconnect by itself, but if I place the iPhone on the dock it randomly disconnect. I think this is a software problem, as if it recognize that is fully charged so it disconnect (Or something like that, I'm just guessing). Does anyone have this kind of problem? I have an iphone 4s and I want to recover my entire KIK message history INCLUDING including photos and voice notes without an itunes backup. I am willing to pay money for this so if anyone can recommend any software that could aid me in this situation i would be truly appreciative. | Posted: 23 Jul 2018 04:02 PM PDT i originally bought the device in late 2016. speakers started deteriorating in mid 2017 so i brought it in to an apple store right around the end of the warranty period and was able to eek out a replacement. now the replacement device is doing the same thing... i've tried meticulously cleaning the speaker grilles with a toothpick and ultrasonic toothbrush and it's actually making the problem worse. ironically the device performs very well apart from the speaker / microphone issues. but now the phone is becoming useless as people are having trouble hearing me and it's a challenge to hear them as well. i have an iphone 7 for work and the loudness comparison is night and day. speakerphone on full volume on my 7 plus is not much louder than the earpiece volume at full on the 7. and the earpiece on the 7 plus is useless unless i'm in a quiet room. i've contacted apple support and had audio diagnostics run at an authorized repair centre and my only option is to replace the phone at my own cost. this doesn't seem fair to me and i was just wondering if i have any other recourse here. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks all [link] [comments]  | ||

So when I use my ipad/iphone to play music at parties, I'd like for guests not to be able to change/pause/skip songs, as at the moment even with a passcode the music player widget is still accessible without unlocking. I get the little pop up saying that I need to enter my password and then when I do, I get a notification that my username is locked and that I need to unlock it. It's not an email or anything so it's not a scam. The questions are all good and my password is correct. Is this a sign that someone is trying to hack my account? I have seen instructions on going to accounts & passwords>subscribed calendars> then delete. But I see no "subscribed calendars" option when I follow those steps. When I have my Sony Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth speaker connected to my iOS device all 60 FPS videos in the YouTube app start dropping frames. It says it's playing 1080p60 but it actually looks more like 40fps. Can anyone reproduce this issue? Is this a bug within the YouTube app? | Posted: 24 Jul 2018 12:38 AM PDT I recently upgraded to an iPhone 8 but still have my old iPhone 5s. The old phone is still logged into my iCloud but wont download any apps that were previously downloaded and had been deleted. Specifically I am trying to download the Pokemon Go app to be able to play on two phones (seperate accounts) at once on occasion. It only has a small cloud icon with an arrow but it is faded out and I am unable to click on it to download the app. I have tried logging out of iCloud completely and logging back in several times and it only caused more trouble. Now on my new device it constantly asks me to log in and allow two factor authentication which I dont want. I guess ultimately my question is how do I make it so I can download the Pokemon Go app on my old iPhone as well as stop the constant need to log in and allow two factor authentication?
