Many apps won't open, and nothing will download/update. Posted: 25 Jul 2018 11:28 PM PDT Ever since this morning, my phone has been acting up. Certain apps, specifically spotify, instagram, and facebook, don't open, only staying on the initial loading screen before crashing. Additionally, I can't download or update any apps. Seeing as this all started at once, I would assume it's a system issue. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Jul 2018 06:44 PM PDT My phone 6plus is stuck on the apple logo after updating it to the iOS 11.4 I've tried hard reboot, and using iTunes but nothing has been successful. What can I do to fix it? [link] [comments] |
Question: How do I limit the amount of notifications I get in the mail app? Posted: 25 Jul 2018 07:46 PM PDT Like many people, my iPhone mail app notifications sometimes tower up to the ten thousands, and I have heard of ways that I can limit the number that for instance I only get notifications for primary emails like in the gmail app. Is there like a program to sign up for? Is there something in the settings that I can use to limit the number of notifications? Please send answers as soon as possible and thank you! [link] [comments] |
Digital Touch App Missing on iPhone 5 Posted: 25 Jul 2018 06:37 PM PDT Basically the title... The digital touch is missing. It's not my phone, but I think it's on iOS 10 or 11. What can I do to bring it back? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Jul 2018 10:13 AM PDT I'm having a meltdown over this news. I really need to hear his voice. When you delete a voicemail, I know you can retrieve it by scrolling to the bottom of your voicemails and selecting the "deleted messages" tab- but I cleared those to save space. Is there another way? I'm pretty iPhone stupid. Thanks so much in advance to anyone that can help. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 25 Jul 2018 01:32 PM PDT Okay so my dad, 64 yrs. old, has been screaming at his iPhone 6s for about two months because he is continually prompted to enter his iCloud password. Well, why doesn't he simply enter his password and unlock it? Because he doesn't know the password. He doesn't know a single sign-in to any account he's ever had. He's been a trial lawyer for 38 yrs. and a secretary has done all account set up for him. Example of his technological prowl, he asked me to give him a tutorial on MS word and ppt last year. He took notes on a legal pad that had steps beginning with 1. left-click on start, 2. left-click all programs,...... followed by another 52,000 steps unnecessary to the actual operation of Office. Why not recover your password by sending link to the email associated with the iCloud account? Again, stellar question you might be asking yourself. Two years ago when he retired, his law firm operated on Gsuite. His partner died, and the secretaries have moved. Hence, the firm shut-down, the Gsuite has become inactive and the email no longer retrievable. So, why not go to the store or call iCloud? AT&T ain't got a dog in this fight, they don't know anything. Apple store and iCloud, sure we can help, what's your b-day? Easy. Okay what are the answers to your three recovery questions? Holy Jesus, if you guessed it go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back. He doesn't know the I GUESS CORRECT?? answers to: HIS FIRST CAR, FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM, OR FAVORITE PRIMARY TEACHER. ALL THREE OF WHICH HAVE NEVER CHANGED IN HIS LIFE. Lastly, why not just wipe the phone clean on a PC? If you have not realized by now that I have tried unsuccessfully to do that, then you just don't get it. You have to enter your iCloud password to wipe or even sign out of the iPhone. He know's his DOB, and social, duh. They can see that his particular phone has been on the same account since circa 2015. But, to this day, 7/25/2018, we are still locked out. Essentially iCloud has told us that if we cannot provide answers to security questions or the credit card used to purchase the iPhone (ha, yeah right, he's got no clue), then he, and by he I mean our family, is T-Totally fucked until we can figure something else out? Someone, please for the love of all things holy, help us. Thank you and God bless. [link] [comments] |
can't locate where photos were uploaded from old iPhone that broke down. Posted: 25 Jul 2018 12:36 PM PDT My iPhone 6 recently stopped working and I can't locate where my old files are. If I understood this correctly, I should be able to find them by going to iCloud.com and entering my appleID to access them. However that iCloud has absolutely no information on it, not even contact information. Is there any way to find out which appleID or iCloud account the data was synchronised to, now that the phone won't turn on any more? Any ideas, or is there did I misunderstand how the iCloud works? Sometimes when I am not playing music the headset will disconnect and immediately reconnect. It never occurs while I am actively doing something like listening to music or watching a video. I am just trying to figure out if this is a problem with my phone ore my headset. iPhone X 256gb 11.4.1 LG Tone headset HBS-920 [link] [comments] |

Posted: 25 Jul 2018 02:05 AM PDT My iPhone 8 Plus has a faulty lightning connector, one of the charging pins is missing. I spoke to Apple and they won't repair it they're only offering a new handset. Is this something I could repair myself? If so how complex is it to do so? [link] [comments] |
