| Posted: 01 Jul 2018 08:41 PM PDT Out of nowhere my phone suddenly started vibrating non stop. I powered it off and it started vibrating as soon as it turned back on. Then the vibrations became sporadic and after a few restarts, finally stopped. I had not changed any settings, gotten it wet or mistreated it. I don't keep my phone on vibrate, I don't have any sound notifications, and haven't added any apps in a long time. When I got home I ran the latest update 11.4 and will call apple tomorrow. Meanwhile, has this happened to anyone and how did you fix it? [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone 8 Plus won’t charge after going in pool Posted: 01 Jul 2018 07:01 PM PDT These things are supposed to be water resistant, but after mine took a little swim for about a second or two it won't charge. All it will do is charge for a second and stop, it'll indicate it's charging then it won't charge. Sometimes it'll charge but only for a few minutes. I believe that somehow the house I am staying at is shorting our my phone somehow, since my old phone did the same thing last year here (iPhone 7). My iPad charges just fine though. It'll charge when I am in my Jeep Grand Cherokee with the USB charger, maybe since it's a lower voltage. My iPhone 7 last year would charge when it was plugged into a laptop. It seems like these are the only ways to charge here, but no one else here has issues besides me. I thought it may be water damage even though these are IP67 rated, but after it working in my Jeep I'm at a complete loss as to what it may be. It charged just fine last night when I was here though. | IPhone won’t recognize headphone adapter Posted: 01 Jul 2018 05:56 PM PDT I'm running an IPhone 7, and suddenly my phone stopped recognizing my headphone adapter, but still charges and plays fine using the lightning EarPods. I've restarted the phone, made sure everything is clean, updated to iOS 11 (Finally), still not audio through the adapter. Anyone have any other ideas or am I boned? Also I have tried using many different adapters so it isn't that mine is broken. Any help is appreciated! [link] [comments]  |
| Restore iPhone without updating to 11.4? + weird performance glitch(?) Posted: 01 Jul 2018 04:20 PM PDT I'm currently on 11.3.1 and am waiting on the Electra jailbreak to be released. However, a few days ago my phone started crashing and going into bootloops whenever I open anything more intensive than the camera - but only when not plugged in. The phone runs like its new when it's charging and I have a portable charger I can use as a quick fix, but I want to try and actually fix the issue without updating to 11.4. Is there anyway to do this? I created a backup earlier but whenever I go to restore it from my Mac it says it wants to update the phone as part of the restoration. Any help/tips/fixes are appreciated And feel free to let me know if I'm being stupid, I just want to get this fixed lol [link] [comments]  |

| Iphone7: Won't turn on or restart Posted: 01 Jul 2018 07:36 AM PDT Hello all, My GF was playing a candy crush type game on her phone when it suddenly turned black/off. The phone will not turn back on, is unresponsive to charging, and won't restart. I looked in the sim-card slot for water damage and the indicator is not red. I've tried a hard restart. Nothing. It's a brick at this point. No physical damage on the phone. I'm not sure what it could be other than an unusual defect. Any solutions? I'm mechanically inclined and could replace parts, but I don't know which part would need to be replaced. There is insurance on the phone. [link] [comments]  |
