    [Discussion] My iPhone X on the latest developer beta of iOS 12 literally went from 95% to 1% after sitting in my pocket for 4 hours.

    Before anyone asks, no the phone wasn't on in my pocket because I was still receiving notifications on my Apple Watch. But yeah, it pretty much died after 4 hours of no use while on a full charge. It's the first time this happened so I'm not concerned. And the battery seems to be acting fine now but it was just kind of odd. However I'm well aware that these sort of things happen with betas. I'm just curious if it's happened to anyone else.

    [Bug] iPhone freezes completely for about 10 seconds when YouTube goes into full screen

    Hi all. I just found this subreddit so excuse me if this post breaks any rules. I'm on an iPhone 7 on iOS 12 Public Beta

    I've discovered that when going fullscreen, whether it be by tapping the button or rotating the phone, the phone freezes up completely. It won't go to the home screen if I press the home button and it won't turn off the screen when I press the sleep/ wake button.

    But it will act like normal after about 10-15 seconds, until I change the video.

    Any suggestion on what I should do?

    [Bug] Some apps think they don’t have notification privileges

    I'm running the latest developer Beta and some apps like Forza or N26 prompt me to enable notifications... they are both on on settings-notifications and settings-app-notifications.

    Weirdly, I still receive notifications from both apps 🙃

    [Question] Can you guys FaceTime with non-beta iOS users?

    My girlfriend is on iOS 11 (stable), and whenever I try to FaceTime with her, all she sees is a frozen screen saying "Poor Connection," but I can see her fine.

    This happened on my iPad too when I first installed the first dev beta before reverting back.

    I feel like I remember reading something related to this but I can't recall what it is, nor can I find it.

    I'm on public beta 1 currently.

    This has worked for 3 other people so far, not sure if it's specific to carrier or not.

    1.Turn off WiFi, Bluetooth, and Location services from Settings, not control panel.

    2.Restart phone, then turn on Bluetooth, and location services again. (WiFi comes on automatically after a restart).

    I've been busy and so haven't had time to do much research until this weekend, and thus far I haven't been able to find much. Ever since the iOS 12 Dev Beta 2 came out, my iPhone had still been telling me that my device is up to date. I've confirmed that the beta profile is still installed on my device. I've rebooted several times without any change. Has anyone else experienced this? It's not imperative I update since I've been reading about some of the significant bugs in the second beta, but I'm just trying to figure out what's going on.

    I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this (probably stupid) question, but if I were to downgrade back to iOS 11.4, would I lose any Health data gained since I started the public bet?

    Been using it since Friday and have since achieved a Perfect Month in terms of all three rings closed every day in June. Having a few bugs with the Activity app so considered downgrading, but not I'd lose my achievements and data.

    [Question] Downgrade from iOS 12.0 beta to 11.4, lost text messages

    I downgraded due to issues with the beta that were significant enough to me. Absolutely everything works fine now and all info was kept, except my text/iMessages.

    It says I have 300MB in my iCloud saved... but I can't retrieve it. I did not do an iTunes backup before moving to 12.0 beta.

    Any way to get them back? Can I re-upgrade back to iOS 12 for them to reappear?

    [BUG] “All Devices” option of Screen Time doesn’t work

    I have an iPhone & an iPad. Both are upgraded to public beta 1... But both of them can only show their own screen time usage. Just like when I check the usage of my iPhone on iPad, it's empty. So does it on my iPhone.

    Does anyone have the same problem?
