iMessage notifications are out of sync, both on watch and on phone Posted: 24 Jul 2018 06:56 AM PDT I got an Apple Watch roughly 2 weeks ago and I've been loving it so far. The only recurring complaint I have had is this small issue with iMessage notifications. I have seen posts on here saying that they'll check a text on their phone and their watch will buzz with the text 10 seconds later. Mine does that as well, but also, sometimes I will be on my phone on a different app, and my watch will buzz with a brand new text as if my phone was off, even though the notification should have shown up on my phone in a drop down banner since I was using it. Or sometimes I will have my phone off and my watch will buzz but when I turn my phone on to see the lock screen, the message won't be there and I'll have to unlock it and go to Messages to read it. These are just small disparities in the timing of the things, but they are nothing more than minor annoyances. I guess I'm getting notified of the iMessage one way or another. Has anyone else encountered this problem and may have a fix? [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Jul 2018 02:48 AM PDT Looking to buy my very first Apple Watch soon. I know the 3 series is out, but I'm sure the 2 series would be cheaper. Are there really that many differences between the two? I mean, are the 2 series Apple Watches even on sale anymore?? [link] [comments]
Looking to buy an old colourware of a Nike+ Apple watch strap! Posted: 24 Jul 2018 08:44 AM PDT So I am in a bit of a bind. My girlfriend found the 42mm Pure Platinum/White Nike Sport Band on Apple's website and told me she would love to get it. Problem is I can't seem to find it anywhere. Buying used isn't a problem if I could find it. I am beginning to think this colour has been discontinued. So I am reaching out to you guys for help. Is there a website I can go to buy used straps or is there a place that may carry discontinued stuff? Any help is appreciated! [link] [comments]
treadmill interval workout with apple watch Posted: 24 Jul 2018 08:01 AM PDT Had my Apple Watch for about a week now and just trying to figure a few things out! Could anyone give me some direction on how to use the native exercise app for treadmill interval training? I usually walk for 5 minutes, then jog/run for 15 minutes, come down to a fast walk at an incline for 5 minutes, back up to run for 5-10 minutes etc. etc. I've noticed on the Apple Watch you can only choose indoor walk or indoor run. There is no specific treadmill mode like the Fitbit has. So my question is what mode should I use and would be most accurate for interval training? Surely I'm not the only person who doesn't just run or just walk the entire workout? I used indoor run for my last workout and I noticed that the watch would auto pause when I slowed down to a cool down walk. I know this can be turned off, but for the fact it was detecting no movement tells me it's probably not as accurate as it should be. Interval training is very common. Thanks for the advice! Put my Apple Watch series 2 in my bag and it still counted my minutes of exercise. Posted: 24 Jul 2018 07:55 AM PDT Ok so walk to the gym and I got a pretty bad tan line from wearing my Apple Watch. I didnt want to do it before bc i wanted my watch to count all my exercises and activity including walking to and back from the gym but my tan line was annoying me so I decide to just put it in my gym bag and put it back on when I get to the gym. Turns out my Apple Watch counted my exercise minutes when in my gym bag and was pretty surprised by it. Just wanted to let anyone know whos walking to the gym and is worried about getting a tan line. iPhone 5 + AW Series 0: Is it still possible to pair? Posted: 24 Jul 2018 06:41 AM PDT Hello, I am thinking of changing my apple watch series 0 for a new series 3, and i would like to give my old one to my dad. But the phone of my dad is an old iPhone 5. Is it possible to pair AWS0 with the iPhone 5? In the apple website it says that AWS1 requires iphone 5S or newer. Can i downgrade my AWS0 to watchOS 2 and pair with the iPhone 5? [link] [comments]
Cases/protectors for lefties?? Posted: 24 Jul 2018 06:25 AM PDT I love that the Apple Watch has the ability to change the wrist and orientation so us lefties can wear them on our right wrists. However, every single bumper or case I've seen that's worth anything is made for the crown to be on the top, facing toward the wrist!! If you put the Apple Watch on your right wrist, it's much more convenient to use the crown when it's flipped and on the bottom facing the wrist. Sure you can flip the bumper upside down but then all the logos are upside down! For example: the rugged protector I just ordered. Any lefties found a solution or have the same problem? Do you shower with your Apple Watch? Posted: 24 Jul 2018 05:26 AM PDT I have never showered with my Apple Watch S3 because I was afraid soap and such could negatively impact the Watch. Is this assumption correct? What do you guys do? [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Jul 2018 03:01 AM PDT Just watched hotel transylvania 3 and the end credit song was stunning so I decided to shazam it with my watch. But the app wont pick up the song and not a single notification that the song was saved. Anybody experiencing the same thing? [link] [comments]
