| Iphone stuck on headphones mode! Posted: 02 Jun 2018 12:12 AM PDT So my blue tooth headphones made my phone stuck on headphones. Ringer works no audio from apps I tried resetting it multiple times turning it off and on. Cleaning and blowing in it just in case). The blue tooth headphones were connected and clicked forget device. Checked my audio setting. updated my phone so I have the current update and nothing. | Can't hear other person in phone calls Posted: 01 Jun 2018 11:11 PM PDT My phone has been acting weird over the past few days. First, I noticed that Siri had stopped functioning. If I hold the home button, Siri will come up with the "What can I help you with", but it won't take my audio. There isn't that line that is usually at the bottom listening to me. Then, I found out that during phone calls, I can't hear the other person nor can they hear me. When I'm calling someone, the ring is in speaker mode even though I did not switch to it. When the person picks up, I hear silence. Also, I don't have the option to switch to speaker mode for some reason. The button is just greyed out. Anyone else have problems? I tried to restart but then my phone got into an endless loop of apple logos. I then had to go into recovery mode and update on the computer. I'm still having problems. [link] [comments]  |
| Texts to Android phone sending as iMessage? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 01:42 PM PDT My brother has had an Android for years. He recently moved from the US and got a new Canadian number. The phone itself hasn't changed, and neither has mine or any of my messaging settings or carrier (iPhone 6, Koodo in Canada). When I tried to text his new number, it sent as an iMessage to some random stranger. We triple checked that the number itself is correct and it is, because I can receive texts from him. If I turn off iMessage in my settings, I can text him back no problem. He doesn't have iMessage on any other device, so it's not like my phone is trying to send the text to his iMessage instead of to his phone. I don't want to have to turn off iMessage every time I want to text him. Any ideas on why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? EDIT: My friend suggested that whoever had his new number before him still has it connected to iMessage, which my phone will use by default. Does anyone know if there is any way I can set his contact to send to SMS by default? [link] [comments]  |
| Photos on my phone corrupted after resetting Posted: 01 Jun 2018 08:18 PM PDT Earlier today I reset my phone to fix an audio problem I was having. I selected the one that would keep my data afterwards and it did do the job, but the problem is that all the photos before the time it was reset have been corrupted. They're still there and you can view them, but the circular icon with the exclamation mark in the bottom right is on all of them. When I check my iCloud, it says that there are no pictures in it. On the bright side, I can access them through my computer. Is this basically an unresolvable issue? If not, is there a way to fix it? | Messages not in chronological order after importing from android Posted: 01 Jun 2018 04:39 PM PDT Hi all, just bought a new iphone SE and I used the android app "move to iOS", which should have moved my cotnacts, regular SMS text messages, pictures... all this stuff. The problem is, that the texts are not in chronological order, it seems they are in exactly the opposite, going from newest at the top, to the olderst at the bottom. Is there a way to fix this? Having this and then continuing with texts is almost impossible for me, since I wouldn't be able to find any info reasonably. Thanks [link] [comments]  |
| Volume turns down by itself, then stays on screen Posted: 01 Jun 2018 02:37 PM PDT It started the day after I got my phone. The volume icon would appear on the center of my phone, and the bars would go down to mute on their own. I've done it with a case and without, and tried all variations of settings. In the six months I've had this phone, the issue comes and goes, but currently is doing it worse than I've ever seen it. It's hard to use a phone that can't have volume and has a giant icon always in the middle of a screen. This is my third iPhone, so I'd prefer not to have to buy a new one, especially as a poor college student. Bonus: Earbuds, even Apple, don't work. When I play with ringtones/iTunes, it makes noise. On any other medium (YouTube, Apps) no noise comes out. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 01 Jun 2018 12:41 PM PDT so i have an iphone 7. i recently had the screen replaced and noticed a couple things, i seem to be hitting corners of the screen a lot, which NEVER happened before so im assuming its bc the digitizer the people used isnt genuine apple so they lied so that aside this is by far the worst problem- when im using my phone, if its dark or i accidentally cover the light sensor thing above the ear speaker, it will dim the phone completely. exactly like when you're on a call, and when you bring your phone to your ear it turns black, and when you move it away it will come back. i hope this makes sense lol. pls is there a fix to this im gonna break my phone again lol [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 01 Jun 2018 08:13 AM PDT I have a 6plus and my front camera won't work it just shows a black screen or stays on the rear camera which works just fine. I tried turning it off and on, tried disabling apps which use the camera (it won't work in them either), tried the hard restart... how do i get it to work again please help thanks [link] [comments]  |
| IPHONE 6+ Water Damage, How screwed am I? Posted: 01 Jun 2018 06:46 AM PDT I thought I would test out my Lifeproof case in the pool yesterday. Didn't work out. Water got in it. I didn't turn it off and my front facing camera stopped working, it started to say I had no sim card, then my screen changed a bunch of colors and went blank, and then it turned off and wont turn back on. Im taking it to Sprint tonight and hoping they can look at it, but does it sound like I bricked it? [link] [comments]  |
