    I found an iPad during Halloween night walking with my kids. It has LTE connection therefore through the group message notifications on the iPad, I found out the number to two contact names, the iPad owner's husband and father. I called and spoke to them both, they said they'll let her know, they didn't offer to come pick it up and then give it to her or anything. I asked for her phone number so I can text her directly and they gave me her phone number. I texted her, she said she'll come pick it up, but she never showed up. That was back in November, it is now May and I have not heard from her since, I even texted her again couple days ago but did not get any responses from her. What should I do now? It's collecting dust so I want to reset it to factory and use it.

    I really need a notetaking app, that can convert handwriting to text. Most of them can, but most of them cant convert ÆØÅ(with apple pencil). If you guys know one, i really need it. Thanks mates.

    iPad Stand for Doctor's Office (Pediatrics)

    I need a secure iPad stand for a Doctor's Office. I expect at least a few kids to hang off it on occasion and to mess it a bit. Hoping to prevent theft and breakage.

    - Adult height

    - Mount to floor (screw holes)

    - Good cable management

    - Not extremely expensive (least necessary but would be nice)

    - Home button needs to be accessible

    Any suggestions?

    I just recently bought an 2018 9.7 128 gb ipad. I've searched around on this sub and read that the wireless hd is the way to go.

    Will I be able to hook the wireless hd to a regular hd and transfer everything over or do I need a computer to do it?

    I'm pretty much going to have movies on it and occasionally upload footage from my go pro.

    I also have my MacBook Air but it's currently overseas so I would be using a friends laptop to load movies on it. Is the wireless hd the best route? And it looks like everyone likes the sea gate hard drive.

    notability use up a lot of battery?

    What kind of dac is in the Ipad Pro 10.5, is it an improvement over the Ipad Air?

    Listening with earphones, my iPad pro 10.5 sounds fuller and crisp than my iPad air. Im wondering if they put a better audio dac on it?

    Ipad mini 2 in 2018

    How does the Ipad mini 2 run in 2018. I want to use it as a mobile Multimedia device, on which I would watch youtube Videos, play Hearthstone or browse the web and read EBooks on. Would it still work fleuntly or would it be a pain in the A55?

    AirPlay 2 Multiroom Speakers - Offline?

    Hi all,

    I've been looking for a solution to send music to multiple wireless speakers without Internet access. I noticed today that AirPlay 2 is here on my iPad (Air 2, if that matters). I see that it supports "multiroom streaming", which I take to mean multiple speakers. Does anyone have a setup where they can try this without Internet access (airplane mode?)? I would be streaming from Google Play music which does let me save the music for offline streaming.

    New iPad (2018) GoPro Video Editing

    Has anyone tried using the iPad Apple recently announced to edit GoPro video.

    How'd the importing go? Did you use quik, iMovie or another app? How good was scrubbing footage was there lag?

    Would you ditch a full computer or use an iPad Pro for future projects?

    Help me charge my iPad whilst using it on my computer

    I know this sounds dumb, but im stumped. iPad Pro 9.7 and a windows 10 Desktop i built.

    I use my iPad as a graphcis tablet mainly, and have had a lot of fun tethering it to my Windows 10 Desktop PC to use it in Adobe Photoshop with a lightning-usb apple cable. However, the tablet usually discharges during this, which made me assume it wasn't getting enough juice from the Desktop.

    I purchased this expansion card from Amazon, as it was the only one i could find that stated how much power it gave each port. It said that USB Type A would supply 5V at 2.4 Amps. According to the web, this means it also should give 12 watts of power, same is the wall charger that came with the iPad.

    Will a USB-C to Lightning Cable remedy this, as it gives 14 Watts? I'm at a loss here folks. How do i power this iPad whilst using it on a computer?

    Keep specific photos / videos on my device

    I'd like to keep specific videos and photos (eg everything taken in 2018 so far) on my iPad, yet even my 128GB one doesn't have enough space to download all of them - so enabling that option won't work.

    Is there any way to do that within the Photos app? Thanks. :)

    Cheapest option for fast charging iPad 12.9?

    Recently my iPad hasn't been charging, or charging very slowly/draining if I'm using it while plugged in. Will fast charging help with this, and what are my cheapest options for a fast charge set up. I see the anker 29w and Apple usb-c is what's generally recommended but I was wondering if anyone had found a cheaper way.

    [Question] Is it worth it to restore an iPad?

    I have an old iPad Mini 2 or 3 laying around with a cracked display, would it be worth it to fix the display? Normally it isn't an issue, but parts of it are missing I would use it for productivity (school work mainly) and hopefully upgrade in the future so I can do 3D modeling, video editing, etc.

    Buying an iPad Pro now

    Hey guys,

    Look like there will be no iPad Pro release at WWDC. I'm still waiting till there just in case, but if they don't do you think I should go for the actual 10.5 or wait?

    Apparently it is coming later, we don't know when. I wanna buy it mostly for school and my personal usage, pretty sure the actual would make the job too, but would be salty if the new one release soon at same price!

    Do you think we can expect it for soon? Or since there's no leaks yet, more for 2019?

    iPad Mini 4 - Still A viable option?

    Was thinking of picking up the iPad mini 4 for the portability, but wondered if it would be like boarding a sinking ship. It has an A8 chip which, while still powerful now, might not get many future updates. I'd probably pick up the cellular version which has a 24 month contract. I'd hate to pay monthly for a device that will be lagging in a years time. I'd mostly be using it for gaming with a MFi controller, book reading, emails, video watching, etc. Based on this, is this iPad still a good buy?

    Transfer folders from PC to iPad

    Is it possible to transfer a folder from PC to the iPad whilst keeping the folder and all of its contents together? I tried putting a few folders into my iPad and all of the files are all together now.
