| Posted: 19 Jun 2018 11:33 AM PDT Just got a LG B7 and an Apple TV 4K. I'm confused about how DV works. When I have the Apple TV set to DV, does everything play in DV? I also have a Shield and when I play something that isnt DV (or HDR), my TV (obviously) doesn't say its in DV or HDR. I guess what I'm asking is, say when I watch Game of Thrones on HBONOW, is it actually playing in DV. Or when I watch "The Grand Tour" on Amazon Prime, it still says DV, when I'm pretty sure that Amazon only does HRD10? Hope that makes sense... Thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||

It's been pretty awesome for watching streaming content and even streaming stuff from our phones/tablets to it. But we got some extra cash recently and we're wondering if we should upgrade. We have a 65" 1080p tv we plan to hook it up to, and the services we usually watch are Hulu, Netflix, Prime, and Plex. The last one we usually stream from a device to watch. | 2 ATVs on Same Network via Ethernet Posted: 19 Jun 2018 06:31 AM PDT I have an ATV 4K and an ATV 4 both connected via Ethernet. They will work for a couple of days and then they will both have no internet connection and show the same up address. I switched one to WiFi as a work around. But the one connected to Ethernet is still dropping off the network daily, I have to reboot the modem to get it back on. When it drops the "router" and "DNS" fields show "N/A". After the latest OS update neither unit is showing 4K display options (HDR or Dolby Vision). Highest resolution option is 1080p. Both ATV 4K units were displaying 4K prior to the OS update. All other components in both rooms are displaying 4K HDR and Dolby Vision fine (Oppo, Roku, PS4, TV apps). Any ideas?
