    Just borrowed my cousin's ipad 2 and downgraded directly to ios 6.1.3, vlc old version was downloaded but it seems like x265 is not properly supported any alternate apps?

    iPad media player: VLC or Player Xtreme alternative with an easy way to increase playback speed?

    Dear /r/ios,

    I'm in need for a media player that allows to increase the playback speed easily, because I need to adjust it on a stationary bike. A simply button or tap/swiping gesture would be ideal.
    For VLC the controls are hidden in some tiny pop-up menu and the slider, which needs to be dragged is super sensitive. Also VLCs engine makes voices sound high-pitched very quickly even at low speeds.

    For Player Extreme the playback speed controls are hidden away in the current video playback settings overlay. It's nice that buttons are offered and you can choose the increment, but the buttons are very small as a touch target and easily missed, when on the bike. Furthermore the playback speed setting is not saved for continuous playback.

    Any recommendations for reliable media players?
    Preferably those with trustworthy and active developers that don't abandon the project in a few months.

    Is the stock iOS News app working for anyone else since the 11.4 update? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and continue to get this welcome screen. :/

    Twitter App Only Works Offline - Help

    Hey, Guys. My Twitter app for my iPhone 8, only works properly when I'm on my cellular data. I've tried re installing it a few times with no luck. Does anybody have any idea on how I can fix this, so it works on Wifi ? Thanks

    Apps won’t install after restoring

    So I restored and updated from 11.0.3 to 11.3.1. However, most of my apps won't download past the 7 o' clock point and just get stuck there. I literally tried restoring the whole device again and still get the same issue. Thanks

    I'm using an iPhone 6 Plus and I get problem from and downloaded song on the default music app or a downloaded/streamed song on Pandora. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

    Can't restore iPhone 7

    Woke up to iPhone 7 showing a white screen. Try hard resetting and it wouldn't load. Plugged into mac and it says it's in recovery mode, so I restored and updated, during the process, it says it couldn't restore due to unknown error (6).

    I searched it up and it could be numerous things. I cleaned the lightning port, switched to another genuine cable, deleted the ipsw files and even tried it on another mac. Same issue. Macs do not have third party Anti-virus software prohibiting this and they are updated to 11.13.5.

    Out of ideas.

    pls guys help memy, phone does not turn on

    Hey guys

    so I have been recently talking with twitter apple support because of my bad battery health. they recommended that I should try to restore my iphone via iTunes. I thought that I still can downgrade to ios 11.3.1, I found the ipsw file, I did everything good, step by step but at the end a message came but honestly I do not really remember what it was, something like iTunes does not find my phone or something like that. After that I tried install the newest software, 11.4, but also a dead end, literally. I cannot turn on my phone anymore. I got the same message in iTunes, that my phone cannot be found. Whenever I try to turn on the phone, the Apple logo appears but just for 1 blink until I push the power button and then everything goes to black. :(((((

    I have a rather aged iMac that's running 10.7.5. Is there any way to gain access to iMessages? I have no iOS devices currently, which this is usually associated with iMessage. But I am between devices and I need to access my iMessages.

    Recovering iMessages Lost During iCloud Restore
