| iPhone 7 Storage Data problems? Posted: 25 May 2018 09:35 PM PDT System storage takes up 26 gb of space. There's 2 apps on the phone WhatsApp and another small app. WhatsApp background upload of photos is off. There's 25000 emails but the mail part of the storage says only 130.4 mb used. Why is System using so much memory? EDIT: I just imported about 100 pictures from my phone to my hp laptop. But the system memory increased from like 26.6 to 27.02. | iPhone 8 charging stuck at 80% Posted: 25 May 2018 11:51 AM PDT I have a new iPhone 8 that didn't complete 3 months since I bought it and it is already facing issues. Yesterday the charging didn't exceed ~82% and today the charging is stuck at 80% and doesn't exceed it. Not sure why. I do live in a hot climate (as I heard it might be due to the battery's safety 'lock') but I didn't face this issue any time in the past so what could the problem be? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 25 May 2018 12:07 PM PDT So I have a iPhone 6 and recently the battery has been acting strangely. First off yesterday I used it a lot and it remained 100 % for at least 5 hours then it started to go down. When it hit 80 % it died and I put it in the charger and powered it up again and it was at 80 % already but still died right away. Right now my phone is at 100 % and has been a while like yesterday. What do I do to fix it. I just think the battery tracker is out of sync or something like that. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 25 May 2018 10:40 AM PDT Ciao all! So, I won't make this long and I'll be concise as possible. I'm very technical yet can't figure this problem out. My iPhone refuses to make a call. I've tested headphone jack w/ headphones, Bluetooth, and just seeing if the speaker would be available. None of that worked. When I open the phone app and make a call the button to push it to the speaker the ability to do so doesn't appear and seems faded. Same when trying to use Hangouts (a google app) for a voice call. Anytime I try to make a FaceTime called, Facebook Video call, or receiving either the call instantly goes to 'failed'. So I decided it was best to restore the phone as new - that didn't work. Took my SIM out and also contacted my cell phone provider - nothing on their end. My phone was working fine until I upgraded to 11.3.1. Did diagnostic troubleshooting w/ Apple and sent them logs during a session and they found nothing wrong but other than I should restore it again. What does work? I can play Music and videos just fine with sound coming from the speaker. What doesn't work additionally? Recording voice memos Someone has to have an answer to help me! | iPhone 6 + iTunes = How do I remove iCloud music from my wife's iphone (iOS 11.3.1) Posted: 25 May 2018 09:12 AM PDT My wife has an extensive music library (>100K MP3s) and she very much enjoys curating her own music playlists. We've been having issues for months syncing (extra playlists appearing, like if she had a "2017" playlist, a new one "2017 1" will appear during certain syncs, it's totally random and completely frustrating.) However, she wants to take a scorched Earth policy and delete EVERYTHING off her iphone (music) and start over. She's connected the phone to her PC (Win7Pro, newest iTunes, all Windows updates applied). She's unchecked all the playlists in her iTunes and re-synced. When she opens Music on her iPhone, there are hundreds of songs with the cloud icon next to them. She does not want to see these. NOTE: I have Googled this extensively for months. She is running 11.3.1 which, according to her iPhone, is the most current update. What is driving me out of my tree is that many of the published procedure FROM APPLE indicate there should be buttons on certain screens that do not exist on my wife's iPhone. SO, is there a shortcut to remove iCloud music from being displayed on her phone? Note 2: We make heavy use of the Reminders app, (shared shopping lists and the like) so totally abandoning iCloud, while attractive to me, is a non-starter. According to what her phone settings say, the only thing she's sharing on iCloud are reminders. I have urged her to upgrade her phone (Verizon, she's in the upgrade window right now) but she detests having to pay for it monthly (the added cost for the phone.) I am afraid that this isn't a phone issue per se, but something wrong with her Account that I'm just missing. Can anyone help? Or should we just bite the bullet and get a new phone? (Downside to that is, if it is a phone config issue, when I back up her existing phone to restore it on the new phone (apps, icon placement, etc.) this issue might come along with it.) HALP! | Iphone 5s running ios 7. Update ios dangers? Posted: 25 May 2018 07:07 AM PDT I have an iPhone 5S still running the original iOS 7.1.2. Over time, most of the apps have now become incompatible and no longer work. I like to update the iOS in order to have functioning apps however I'm afraid of breaking the phone since there is such a large gap in the iOS versions. Based on the latest update notification, ill be going to iOS 11. What are the dangers of updating and will my phone still function afterward? I look forward to the expert advice. [link] [comments]  |
