I was clearing my youtube subscriptions list today and stumbled upon Z2's channel, the devs behind (now dead) Battle Nations and Rise of Tyrants - some of my absolutely favorite mobile games. Naturally, a wave of nostalgia washed over me and I thought that maybe, just maybe, there's a game out now that's actually similar? The premise of both titles was that of pretty much any 'build and wait' type of games, like your regular happy farm and what not. However, there was the twist of turn-based combat, and the story was actually original and interesting (though obviously no top tier novel). I'm currently looking for something similar to scratch that itch but it seems like my luck's failing me. There's obviously Clash of Clans and such stuff but it doesn't seem to click with me for some reason. So... Anyone got anything similar they could recommend? I'd be grateful for any recommendations since I am really out of touch with the genre and the p2w side of appstore in general. [link] [comments]  | ||

The problem is that no game holds my attention for more than a few months. I recently got sick of and deleted the one I had, and for the last couple of weeks I feel like I've been through 75% of the App Store downloading and trying games without any luck. I think maybe I'm just too picky in what I'm looking for? I have an iPhone 6 with the latest iOS settings. My basic requirements for a game are: -anime/chibi style graphics -ability to play as yourself and customize your avatar -not pay to win -app that is currently updated -preferred: ability to decorate a house/den/space for your avatar Games that have held my attention in the past include: -Love Nikki -Bomb Monsters -Regency Love -Medal Heroes -Dress Up Diary -Fashion Fantasy -Animal Jam -Jungle Guardians -Tiny Farm -Coco PPA -Sky Islands -I Love Pasta -Unison League -My Pet Village -Flutter & Starlight -Otome games -Fallout Shelter I always reach a point though where I get sick of a game and get an intense urge to delete it immediately.
