Posted: 12 Apr 2018 08:42 AM PDT I've noticed there's 2 types of iPhone buyers - those who upgrade every year and those who hold onto their phones til they die. I myself am an upgrade whore and upgrade every year. But I think I will actually keep my X until next year because I love it a lot and I'm still in awe by it as if it came out last week (bought it 12/6). What about you guys? Posted: 12 Apr 2018 01:03 PM PDT When I worked at T-Mobile there was a loophole to get out of any installment upgrade programs without paying the balance. Basically, you take your phone you have payments on, upgrade to the new phone, and then turn around and return the new phone and pay the restocking fee and you will have no loans anymore. Could something like this be done once the new iPhone comes out to get out of the upgrade program? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Apparently Blocked Phone Number Posted: 12 Apr 2018 11:42 AM PDT I have an employee that I manage whose phone cannot receive calls from my phone. I have an iPhone on AT&T. He has some sort of Android phone on T-Mobile. His phone can apparently receive calls from everyone else on earth, but not from me. When I call his phone, it goes directly to voicemail, and when I send a text, it never arrives. We've been involved with group texts, others will receive my texts, but he will not. I've stood next to him to test this functionality, and he truly does not receive the calls or texts from what I can see. We looked for settings to block my number in his contacts app, and we were able to find a checkbox that could be checked to block me, but it wasn't checked. I know of no setting on my phone that would block me from making outbound calls to his number. I can receive calls from his number. What else can we try? [link] [comments]  | ||

You have pay it all up front. AT&T is $9/month or $215 for the same amount of time but you can cancel at any time. It does cover loss / theft. $49 for screen repair. Posted: 11 Apr 2018 09:02 PM PDT I bought an iPhone X recently, upgrading from an iPhone 6, and I noticed that when I took a picture of an inside environment but that has a window, the colors of the outside are a bit... fake? Without shadows, it's like all that outside colors turns "weak". The colors don't really pop, I think, just look at the building and the trees, the green turns a bit more yellow I think. English is not my first language, I don't know if you can understand me. But here it is, the first picture shows the real colors and the second one shows how it becomes. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Smart invert auto activated, ghosting?!?! Posted: 11 Apr 2018 10:06 PM PDT My network operator company sometimes sends messages and my whole screen turns white unless i press a certain number to reply back or i have to press dismiss, one of these messages was sent at night while i was sleeping, i had a glimpse on it while i was sleeping and thought that maybe the screen was on because some sort of a notification message (whats app, messenger etc..) and that it will close by itself, i slept back and i guess that that not less than 2 hours passed, and because when i slept my battery was about 77% and when i woke up it was 40% and the screen was still on, i was very upset because i was afraid of screen ghosting as it was on the same screen for a couple of hours, but thanks God i dont think there is ghosting but im still little skeptical about it, and even more the screen was on invert color by itself and im sure i wasnt using it before i slept , i was only using night shift and true tone, what do u guys think, and do u think a couple of hours on a blank screen could negatively affect the battery?? I was trying to hold out until September/October when the next model comes out but her 4S is basically a hot brick now. My dad needs a new phone as well so I'll wait for until then to get him one. What case do you recommend for the iPhone X? I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a Lunatik Air case (https://www.amazon.com/LUNATIK-AIR-IPHONE-PLUS-VAPOR/dp/B01M1DXVGC?th=1). My phone has slipped out of my hands a couple of times onto the pavement but no damage has occurred. I believe its because the face of the bumper takes all of the impact (ie. the case isn't flush with the face of the phone.) My mom is in her 60s and lives in a house where tile flooring is practically everywhere, so I'd like to get her something that will protect the phone if she was to drop it on the floor. | Top right corner clicking/loose screen? Posted: 11 Apr 2018 08:18 PM PDT I have had my X since December. It is in excellent condition, never been dropped and always in a case. I've recently noticed when I press the screen at the top right corner (where your battery icon is) there's a slight stick/unstick as if my screen may possibly be loose? I did some googling and found several different answers, some saying it's normal and others saying it's not. Has anyone else experienced this? I mostly notice it when I'm playing a game in landscape that requires me to frequently press that area of my screen. I'm under contract, do I contact Apple or my provider about this? | Control Center pull down inaccuracy Posted: 11 Apr 2018 04:12 PM PDT Ever since the 11.3 update I've noticed the top right corner now brings down Notification Center. I don't think it did before. I can still get Control Cetner but you have to be a lot more accurate with your touch, starting the swipe down right on the signal bars/ battery icon. If you swipe from the very edge of the screen it brings down Notifications instead. Super annoying. Anyone else experience this or have a workaround? [link] [comments]  | ||
