Spellweaver released on iOS - not "just another ccg" Posted: 03 Apr 2018 10:23 PM PDT Greetings /r/iOSgaming. Never posted here before so I hope Im not violating any subreddit rules but I just came by to let you guys know that a Spellweaver has finally made the transfer from PC to mobile. Spellweaver is an amazing game and I recommend anyone that likes more complex card games (more like MTG, less like HS) to try it out. Its very similar to MTG in that it is strategic and complex with a large variety of deck types, but also kind of simplified. The main fan site has a very good article outlining what makes the game special and I could never write it better so here you go https://www.spellweaverdb.com/getting-started/2018/4/2/spellweaver-and-why-it-is-so-great [link] [comments]

A Maze game with easy controls and colorful graphics - Trailer for my new game 'Mazy Maze' Posted: 04 Apr 2018 05:00 AM PDT Hi everyone, I wanted to share my new game 'Mazy Maze' with you. It's a casual/puzzle game with simple and colorful graphics and tapping controls. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2k1wyOmyN4 I figured almost every maze/labyrinth game for mobile has a clunky interface, joysticks or too many buttons on screen. In Mazy Maze I tried to achieve an easy to play but hard to master style gameplay. Your main goal is to reach to the center and take the star. There are different obstacles such as saws, spikes and a black ball which makes the game pretty challenging. Let me know what you think! [link] [comments]
Survivor Clans: The Best Card Battle Game You've Never Played Posted: 04 Apr 2018 08:17 AM PDT https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/survivor-clans-the-trading-card-game/id621867525 Survivor Clans: The Trading Card Game by Zied Rieke is an old (2013) free iOS game is a post-apocalyptic CCG game. Although Rieke has moved on to a real job, this little card game is still in the App Store and still holds up. The most intriguing things about Survivor Clans are the setting (it's not your genetic fantasy or sci-fi tech setting) and the gameplay mechanics. Pros: *Survivor Clans has magnificent mechanics. I've played dozens of TCG/CCG games over the years, and Survivor Clans is one of the most fun, tight, logical, and allows for thinking on the fly as opposed to spamming one strategy.
*Fantastic solo play campaign.
*Although AI is not a genius, the computer is automatically tougher than you, which makes a challenging game.
*Theme is 10/10 due to clan names, faction powers, photos, weapons, items, killing, gameplay, etc. Feels like a thought-out Walking Dead-type world.
*Yes, it really is free, and actually has no adverts.
*No bugs.
*Earn cards every once in a while.
*Shockingly, super easy to play right after install after the quick, basic tutorial.
*Lots of cards, no need for any more.
*Resource light.
*One of, if not my first, iPad game a few years ago. Now is the only one left. It's just fun and feels like a fresh battle in a real world each battle.
Cons: *I assume multiplayer has been dead for a while.
*Like many cards games, deck edit GUI is bad.
*Lots of grinding.
*Combing multiple clans in a new deck is almost impossible (or may take ages) without paying. However, it is not necessary.
*There are cards with synergy, but it may take forever to build such a deck (or pay, I guess).
*No forum, manual, discussion, social media, wikias, etc, just App Store reviews.
*Not updated anymore, so no chance of achievements, different modes, etc.
Other reviews: "...you accumulate resources so you can afford to send certain cards into battle. You can then upgrade them with weapons or armor and hope they win the fight. You're trying to kill off the leader of the attacking clan, while keeping yourself safe. The battle takes place over five different lands and you can even change the lands to suit your needs. Some lands are better for cover, some heal you and some can give you more resources. Your survivors range in abilities and being able to get the right survivor in the right spot is key. You'll also find some other cards that can be played to add to the game." "..as the game proceeds, your character levels up, which gains you more resources. I'm digging this game because there are a wide variety cards and effects: cards which can trigger effects for extra resources; land cards, enhancements, both perm and single turn, moveable cards...etc. Yes, I said land cards. There are 5 or six slots; in between the players' survivor slots are land slots. The defaults change location, but usually have a +1 or 2 attack land bonus, a +1 heal per turn bonus, and a "no attack" rule. You can replace lands with your own land cards and do everything from heal every turn to boost stats." [link] [comments]
Any freemium style games that aren't freemium? Posted: 03 Apr 2018 05:47 PM PDT I'm looking for a game that has PVP and progression/community but isn't a freemium. Something that I can grind out and catch up to the players on the leader board. Does a game like this exist? [link] [comments]
Pass and Play Strategy games for 1 device multiplayer? Posted: 03 Apr 2018 10:17 PM PDT Hi, just wondering if there are any good strategy games - preferably turn based or like age of empires which can be played with multiple people on one device. Do games like xcom and civ6 have this? Anything like that would be so fun [link] [comments]

Heaven's Vault gameplay preview Posted: 03 Apr 2018 12:12 PM PDT For fans of 80 Days and the Sorcery! series, you're likely familiar with the amount of passion and depth that Inkle Studios puts into their games. Well I've been closely following their progress on building their new game, Heaven's Vault, which is described as a "sci-fi archaeology adventure". The more I read about their progress, the more excited I get - especially given the scale and scope of the game compared to their past titles. They posted the preview of gameplay a month ago and it looks pretty good (despite the Youtube comments about the walking animations - or lack thereof).
I'm sorry if this sounds like some sort of advertisement for this game. Sorcery! was one of the few series that genuinely delighted me throughout my run throughs, which can be rare for an iOS game to do these days. I love anything with depth of story and interaction, and Inkle has always delivered on those fronts without needing to resort to fancy graphics or gimmicks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Apr 2018 11:04 AM PDT My friend recommended to download a game called WitchSpring 3 which I surprisingly loved which made me also buy WitchSpring 2. Now that I think I'm almost done with WitchSpring 2 any games similar to this? [link] [comments]
