My MBA Battery Status is "Service Battery", how long I can use my MacBook without damaging my MBA?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2018 08:10 PM PDT

Hello, sorry if this is a noob question or has been asked before, just wanna make sure.

I own 2013 13" MacBook Air, my battery status is "Service Battery".

    • Can I use my MBA as usual, how safe is it? or using MBA with "Service battery" indicator will damage my MBA (like motherboard failure or even battery explode)?

I don't mind using MBA with low-capacity battery, but I don't want to risk damaging my MBA.

    Water Damage Issue! Advice Needed

    Posted: 03 Apr 2018 08:58 PM PDT

Hey everyone! My girlfriend has a macbook pro 13" 2015, with an i5 and 8GB of ram. She basically dumped a whole cup of water on top of it. We flipped it over immediately after turning it off and left it for days.

3-4 days passed and now the laptop won't turn on, the charger shows the green light, but nothing happens when i try to turn it on.

What are her options? Should she sell it as is? If so, where is best? Should we ask for repair options? Is it even worth it? Any advice to people who have been in the same situation?

    goodwill of apple

    Posted: 03 Apr 2018 11:36 AM PDT

    Hello altogether,

just 2 days after the warranty of my Macbook has expired, I discovered that the hinge began making a creaking sound when opening.. I don't think it's going to be a problem in the near future, but it's still an awful sound.

Do you think Apple will be obliging when I make an appointment at the genius bar and show them the hardware issue or do you think this will be pointless?

Thanks in advance! Best regards ✌️
